   I came here with a friend for our anniversary and I regret to say the standards of the pub seem to have dropped. For the first time myself and company felt unwanted and rushed to order. The staff with the botched lip filler was extremely rude and dismissive when both myself and company were intending on ordering food and drinks in due time. She demanded our id's before anything had been ordered - which needless to say is completely unnecessary & might I add she snatched mine out of my hand, then when we were leaving she shouted "thank you!". See, I'm aware we are not all able to afford satisfactory education, however, i thought it was common practice to employ staff that are amicable and pleasant, in hopes of inticing customers rather than scaring them away. Clearly this member of staff has deductions to her pay the longer a table takes to order, or she was just born in a barn but either way she lacks not just the customer service skills to work in hospitality but the basic social skills to be a pleasant and wanted part of society. I feel not the need to wish her poorly in her professional career as I see with her lack of kindness, likability and interpersonal skills she will be the cause of her own shortcomings in life.

   Last xmas, we had an excellent meal 13 of us. Food was really hot and perfect. This year was a different story food not hot roast potatoes not crispy, veg hard. The starter was not a patch on last year, no prawns and toast base inedible. Very disappointing, waitress miserable unlike last year. Had violent stomach pain all that night.

   If you’re a sports fan then this is a great pub - loads of screens throughout along with a dart board and pool table too. Plenty of space should you be in a group and quiet areas throughout as well. Outside there’s a good garden, split into two areas , which is tidy and well kept. Friendly bar staff and a good vibe throughout - a really nice pub.

   Went here for lunch with a friend and had a fantastic experience, food was excellent value for money and came very quickly once we had ordered it, the food was of brilliant quality. Chips were piping hot and delicious and my burger had a magnificent taste! Portion sizes were generous and both myself and my friend struggled to finish. Drinks were lovely and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and I would give 6 stars if I could. ❤️

   Went for a Sunday roast with family. The choice was roast beef or lamb. The Yorkshire puddings are huge. Roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli, peas & gravy. Delicious! Will be back for another.
