   Its been years since I visited this Beefeater. I was shocked how run down the place looks, such a shame, it's lost a lot of it's charm given it's beautiful location. I was in a party of 8 for a Christmas afternoon meal a couple of days beforeChristmas, the place was dead! I had the salmon and prawns which made up for the lack of atmosphere, it was delicious. The spiced fruit crumble is the new way of doing crumbles in restaurants...stewed fruit with a crumble topping added afterwards...Im a crumble snob and its not a proper crumble if it eats like biscuit crumbs lovely flavour though. Staff were lovely, just wish the powers that be did the place up for them so they can work in a better setting.

   Tasty food, great service from a very friendly & attentive team, and fantastic value for money. We were looked after by Millie, who was great, the other servers were all super polite and helpful too. Our food was discounted with a voucher, but even at full price, it was good value. The deals on cocktails and beers were handy too! Overall a very nice meal.

   I haven't been to this Beefeater before & it was disappointing. The waiter was very friendly. The restaurant needs a good over haul & decorating, it's looking really old & shabby. The food was nice, but not like our used to be. As we were sat near the kitchen, you cutoff see everything come out of freezer bags & it wasn't good The peppercorn sauce was very thin with no taste. I did mention this and they got me a new one, but unfortunately it was exactly the same. The steak was a bit tough. But we had a lovely overall evening, a night out is what you make it. But I wouldn't return in a hurry. A shame.

   An average experience. Our order was not queued up, however the floor manager was appropriately apologetic regarding our 50m wait, and did provide free drinks. The food was okay, though my chicken was burned in places. A bit too chargrilled. It was all hot and portion sizes were good. Desserts were very tasty. A mixed bag, although I would dine here again

   Food good quality and tasty, but staff knowingly shorted us on the coleslaw accompaniment included in the menu item without informing us beforehand that there was none available .It was only after insisting that the absence of the coleslaw should be compensated in some way , that my wife received a salad which was fine .Also , despite the Chili non carne tasting good there was only two dessert spoons worth which meant the dish was poorly balanced with the accompanying reasonable portion of rice. Also we arrived at 12 noon when only about a quarter of the tables were occupied and didn't get our main course until 12:50- a bit too long to wait ,really.

   We visited the Beefeater recently for a friends leaving do at work, bearing in mind we normally only have a 1 hour lunch break we had a group of 16 of us. We provided a pre order the night before so all menu choices were already in. We booked the table for 12.30. We provided our drinks order within 10 mins of arriving only to find out they had lost our drinks order list, and took a further 30 minutes to provide drinks. Our meal arrived 1hr and 15 minutes after we had arrived. The waitress knew i was strict vegan and mentioned that my dish was vegan only to open the burger and find mayonnaise in it. The waitress said she would check with the chef to see what the sauce was....only to come back to me and say the chef didnt know and they will be making a fresh one. So while everyone was finishing off there meal i was only recieving mine to the point i cancelled my dessert ate my burger and left 2 hours later and they didnt even offer me a discount! Definitely do not recommend and will not be going back!!!!

   Very very poor. Cold steak had to send back. Cold pulled pork open sandwich. Rare avocado instead of guacamole. Only thing good was the waitress.

   Not very impressed with the quality of food served. Had to send the Steak back as it was stone cold and my partner got some raw avocado instead of guacamole and all was a bit bland.. However the waitress we had was lovely.
