Proper pub. Not many of these left. Beautiful inside. Food offerings are ploughman's lunch, Natchos, great pub fare. Plenty of parking and lovely outside seating! Highly recommend.
Very clean and likeable pub. Well kept beers, especially the cask ales. Food is basic but a great idea on Friday evenings having the mobile Fish & Chip van call in for a few hours, serving customers in the car park and the allowance of the food to be taken inside the pub. The staff are all very pleasant and look as if they enjoy working there.
Great pub, simple menu but great for a light bite and executed well. Good beer and good service. An oasis just outside of the maelstrom of Bedford.

Great pub with a lovely atmosphere. Excellent bar food, very tasty and well presented. Attractive outside patio and pleasant garden for the nicer weather. Excellent pub quiz, but it is advisable to book a table as very popular.
Lovely local family pub nice n cozy
Great pub now it's new owners have had time to stamp their personality on the place. It's slightly limited by Greene King's lacklustre range of ales (in my opinion) but that doesn't take anything away from the feeling and atmosphere. These tenants know how to do it right, and there are elegant and claasy touches around the place that give it a warm and friendly vibe. Long may it continue.

Lovely village pub, played there with my band and we were made to feel so welcome, and boy do the regulars know how to have a good time. The bar is slightly smaller than I anticipated, but its stacked with everything you need for your alcoholic beverage needs. Frequently features guest ales too. Highly recommend!
