    Clean pub. Beer is ok. Staff/owner pleasant. A pity more don't use this pub however we did visit on a Monday tea time.

    Went there last Saturday to watch the football and was a really lively accommodating pub with really pleasant bar staff. Gave me the remote when I wanted to watch the second game lol. They had music on after the football, they have a pool table and bandits so what else could I ask for. Oh and a really nice beer garden out the back which is enclosed in its own little hideaway.

    The dated decor definitely needed addressing. Thankfully this has been addressed in most areas of the pub. This was all done in through lockdown.It now looks fresh, clean and modern, but the pub also keeps it's tradional look with its beams and coal fires. This is a definite hit with all the locals and has attracted many many more new faces to the pub. This has created an even better atmosphere from day to day. The pics you see at the top are the old Globe.The pics at the bottom are the new Globe.

    Needs some money spent on it, very dark inside and not overly welcoming. The beer was good value but the atmosphere was nowhere as nice as the World Upside Down or the Woodpecker in town.

    Great little bar, helpful friendly staff, always clean and tidy, ample car parking out back, excellent Rock selection on the duke box, good range of drinks, and reasonable prices, cant ask for a better place. Would definitely recommend.

    A pub in dire need of investment. interior looks tired and in desperate need of a lick of paint. Toilets are horrid....and there is a smell of raw sewage whenever the dishwasher is opened.... However, the staff are lovely and certainly do their best under the circumstances..... It's the owner who refuses to sort the place out. A real shame as it could be the best pub in town!
