   Today my daughter and I experienced discrimination from the staff at a pub. I was late picking her up from work, so I asked her to wait in the pub and buy herself a snack and a drink (they don’t drink alcohol, so obviously it would have been non-alcoholic). But the pub staff demanded to see her ID. I understand that this may be necessary when selling tobacco or alcohol, but you don’t treat every customer this way just because they look young. And here’s the interesting part — my daughter is an adult, and she even had a copy of her passport with her. Yet she was still thrown out of the pub. And I ask: who do you think you are to treat people like this? Would you throw out a young woman into the dark evening when she just wants to safely wait for her father who is coming to pick her up after work?

   Great atmosphere...... staff are really helpful... nothing too much trouble. Locals are really friendly. Very dog and child friendly. Great sports and games....regular skittles & pool leagues with food laid on. Pity food not a regular facility or I'd never leave!

   A great pub, so different from the neighbouring places. The buzz of a local's pub, but with an atmosphere that made this stranger feel at home right away. The ale helped, of course. Well-kept, and thanks for offering me a refill from time to time Zoe. Good work.
