Robert at Edward Harte did an exemplary job on handing the sale of an ex-council flat back to B&H Council. This was an inherited property and we do not live near Brighton, so a really strong, communicative solicitor was vital. I was demoted, humiliated and fired after becoming a mother. It was a clear case of discrimination! Edward Hart hired in a solicitor who said- let's agree on unfair dismissal as discrimination involves “too much law” and is a very lengthy process... I WAS discriminated against! I got demoted and then fired after I had had a baby! It was a very clear case. After 18months we went to court and the total win for unfair dismissal was not very much at all, of which you took 1/3, the solicitor you hired in took 1/3 and in the end I got … well not very much at all! I'm so disappointed with this outcome and wish I had gone elsewhere, to a firm a lot more experienced in discrimination/ employment law. There are far better law firms out there so avoid this one! J

Unfortulately Mr McDonald never gets back to me in regards to a covenant to be rewmoved on deeds to a house we purchased through him. I have left messages, text, phoned and even knocked on the door, with no joy at all!... Terrible non service! I don't suggest yiu go to him, however the lady I dealt with for my Will to be drawn up was excelent!
