   We came to the Ship Shore today for a Christmas meal and had a wonderful experience. We were served by Christine and Tania, and the customer service was outstanding. They regularly checked that our meals were okay and made sure we had everything we needed. The Christmas meal was absolutely delicious, and there was a great, lively atmosphere throughout our visit. We always enjoy coming here and would highly recommend it.

   Everything was amazing. Food was great and staff were very friendly, frequency checking in and making sure everything was okay. The steaks were slightly undercooked, closer to medium rare than medium, but the issue was quickly resolved and they happily put them back on the grill to cook a bit longer. It's dog friendly and has a good atmosphere.

   Food was lovely. Atmosphere was nice and chilled, lovely Christmas decorations. Service was good in terms of the people were kind, however a few times things were missed and we had to remind/chase it up. Staff did apologise but I'm just putting it on here to ensure the staff are aware to work on this a bit. I would still return to the pub though as I do like it here

   Very friendly and patient service, served food and drinks in a timely manner (we were a big group with preordered dishes) so most food was in good condition. I liked the chicken Schnitzel and the vibe was okay, while others experienced it differently than me.

   We come every Sunday for Bingo, and they always reserve a table for us. Sam and Nev goes out of her way to make us feel welcome—she truly goes above and beyond for us and for other customers. Her kindness and attention to detail make every visit special. They are absolutely amazing!"

   Was here for works Christmas lunch. Staff really friendly. Starters and desserts great. Mains... all of us who had them the turkey was cold (though at least not dry) to the point 1 person sent theirs back to be reheated it was that cold. Conserving the Christmas meal came out last after the burgers and fish (substantially after not just last carried out... literally half finished plates before christmas lunch plates came out) you'd think it would have been the freshest and therefore the most hot.

   To start - this is my local but still felt I need to write this review. Had some terrible meals in this pub over the last few years and stopped eating here with the family. We got an offer through and thought we would try it again with the new landlady - Adele at the helm. What a difference....! All 3 steaks was cooked to perfection and my wife even said it was the best steak she had in years..! We also had 2 lots of Ribs and Wings and one Hunters Chicken. To be honest, we couldn't believe the turn around. If you have not been the Ship ashore for a while, it is a totally different place. Welcoming staff and now the food to go with it. Well done Adele and the team. Please keep up the good work.

   Lovely well presented comfortable family friendly pub & restaurant, went in there fireworks night after getting cold and wet!! Again..lol , it was after 8pm and we had 6 kids with us and was very welcomed, they had beautiful log fires going!!! Perfect .
