This is not what you think a small village pub provides! Beautiful food, wonderfully prepared, delicious well cooked and seasonal. Well priced, and you don't go hungry! Add in a lovely wine selection and service that is a little bit above and beyond and it makes a great Saturday night out! If you want to eat and leave with a smile on your face ...this the place!

Popular village pub with a good menu selection. The menu is on a roll of paper at the bar which makes choosing more difficult, so take a photo. Popular quiz night on a Tuesday, but we sat away from it. Lots of seating options, inside and out.

What a lovely little gem in the heart of Kimbolton. We popped in for drinks as a group of 8 and 2 of us decided to stay for food and we were delighted - highly recommend! The menu is a mix of dishes - something for everyone.

Me and my mother came here for mother's day. It was an amazing experience. The food was of an amazing quality probably one of the best roasts I had. Especially the roast potatoes they were irresistible. Even though there was only one server she ran around at full speed making sure everyone was happy and collecting orders. The pub itself is also a lovely place to be. A proper local pub with a fantastic atmosphere. Kimbolton is very lucky to have such a great pub on the high street !

Visited 19 Feb for Sunday lunch for my birthday. We both had the Bao Buns to start which were so flavoursome and enjoyable. Following this the wife had the roast lamb with all the trimmings which was lovely and plenty on the plate. I had the Sea Bream with brown shrimps. This was lovely, nice crispy skin cooked to perfection with no silly sauces just pure fish along with new potatoes and green beans. I would highly recommend. Naomi and team always provide a fantastic service. The real ales aint half bad either.

We visited a few times whilst staying in Kimbolton over New year. We ate once and the food was OK. 2x fish & chips, 2 x burgers. Fish cooked nicely but batter was very oily & a bit soggy, chips were more like wedges and definitely undercooked, we did mention this but didn't get much response other than a "sorry 'bout that". 2 x real ale on from Charlie Wells but neither to our taste. Staff friendly and they had a good singer and party atmosphere on New Years Eve.

A lovely pub recently taken over. Myself and a friend found it while on a motorbike ride. New landlady was very friendly as was her waitress. Both did everything needed and made us feel really welcome. Their chef was off that day but looking forward to going back and trying their food.

Went there last night. The menu was very basic, nothing like the pictures I have seen on this review site. I had a port burger which was terrible as was the turkey burgers. Friend had stake that was OK. Generally very poor choice and quality.

This is such a great local pub and restaurant. Great selection of beers, great food (the chef was great and seemed keen to make sure it was to needs) and most importantly fantastic people and service. A special mention to our waitress Lauren who was fantastic at engaging with us and attentive too. This is a great place to go for food and drinks.
