   Popped over to this little quaint pub to meet friends for a karaoke evening and it was great . The place was packed but everyone was really friendly which makes a pleasant change in Bedfordshire. The staff were rushed of there feet but handled it all in there stride and made sure no one was waiting around. I highly recommend this lovely pub.

   We where there to play Pool in the league and had a great night even though we lost, a friendly atmosphere with a lovely landlady and friendly locals.

   The barman wasn't very welcoming unfortunately, he was rather grumpy and appeared not to want to be there. Went to multiple other pubs as part of the crawl and each one was miles better than this one was.

   Good pub for meeting up with your mates that also like going in there. Good for kids in the summer if you want a traditional local without a play area. Not the sort of pub to go to if you're not a local resident unless meeting friends that already frequent the pub unless you are very confident and can strike up a conversation with absolute strangers. I used to live 15 minutes walk away at my marching pace and knew 75% of the regulars so when the Griffin closed down this was where I went to meet mates.
