Booked for closeness to where we wanted to go rather than anything fancy. STAY AWAY FROM ROOM 17. top of the building, absolutely freezing as no heating, door does not lock from inside or out, mold growing in the bathroom and in the ceiling corner next to the bed and the place was like a maze to navigate :(

Stayed at the Station Hotel in Norwich while on a job. Room was basic β one milk, one coffee, one sugar, and they donβt refresh it daily. Bit rough around the edges but warm, clean, and cheap at Β£35 a night. After reading the reviews I checked for bugs, but didnβt find any. Seems cleaner now. Ideal if you just need a cheap base for work, nothing more.

The worst in the Uk for us. Contacted their phone and WhatsApp for like 30times since mid-day for check-in and got no response. No receptionist or staff/ no one at hotel to open the door for us even during available check-in time . We had to knocked for 30mins until 1 of the guests opened the door for us. For the room, we did not get any information which room we had to stay-in and decided to stay in the room where there was no one. It was before my exam day and it was so stressful for us. October 13rd night. Very frustrating

Booked this for convenience rather than luxury, so wasn't expecting much - but this was terrible. Have to phone a random number to check in where they tell you your room number. Nobody on reception. 5 customers were just standing around trying to work out where to go. Got to my room (15) and the door couldn't be closed. Phoned the random mobile number provided and got told to text them as they were "busy". I was allocated a new room, the "spare room", presumably for staff, then got told it wasn't actually available. Finally got given a new room, 2 hours after trying to check in. Room was adequate but grubby, lots of stains on the walls etc. The shower is awful and no fresh soap or shower gel. Don't stay here unless you're expecting literally just a bed - although for Β£48, you'd expect better than this. And surely worth putting someone on reception on a Friday night, to make it easier for guests and staff?? Really poor.

Absolutely awful. There was no one at the front desk and the phone lines were busy to begin with, which left us standing in the lobby for a while. Stepped into the room and instantly knew my partner and I werenβt staying there. The bed looked unpleasant and uncomfortable to sleep on; whilst the sheets had been tucked in neatly we could tell it hadnβt been washed since the last guest. The curtain was barely hanging up and just looked so unkempt. The mirror wasnβt hung on the wall but propped up on the radiator, which I feel is a safety hazard if it slipped out of place and fell. There was a chair in front of what we assumed was the bathroom, but didnβt dare look inside considering the state of the main room. What was worst of all, was the strong smell of cigarette smoke clinging to the entire room and hotel. It made both me and my partner feel sick in the few minutes we spent in the room before checking out and requesting a refund. The staff on the phone kept trying to offer us another room, even though we repeated that we did not want to stay there and wanted a refund, which they didnβt want to give. We contacted Expedia to help us as we booked through them, who are currently trying to contact the hotel to get us the refund, however we have been told that the hotel is not answering the calls. This is the worst hotel I have ever been to.

Very average budget hotel. Rooms squeezed in so tiny, poorly designed en-suite, no Wifi, no breakfast and no real service. Kettle in room and close to station are plus points. Lumpy bed, cold and uncomfortable the downs

Clean and neat. Staff very helpful. No food available. Shower quite fiddly to operate and very small cubicle. Bed comfortable. Perhaps a bit pricey for what it is.

Very reasonably priced for proximity to station and football ground. Rooms functional, equipped with double bed, shower, kettle, etc.

Clean, comfortable and warm. 10 mins walk from town centre. No breakfast but lots of options close by.

After the refurbishment of the hotel, it is amazing, clean rooms, fresh food and lovely service, would recommend this hotel also close to the station, the river and prince of Wales road.
