Neil and Jose are very welcoming. This is the best bed and breakfast we've ever stayed in. The breakfast portions are huge. If you prefer a continental breakfast to a cooked one I love the fresh cut up fruit with my cereal. My husband likes the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. They can also do a vegan cooked breakfast. We've stayed in one of the the garden rooms before but recently our room was on the first floor this time. The beds are super king size which are very comfortable. We will definitely be back again!

My sisters and I stayed in 'The Coot Cabin', a cute little self-contained cabin in the garden at the Moorhen for a weekend. The cabin was spacious and super clean, with comfortable beds. The bunk bed setup worked well, and the upper bunks were easy to get in and out of. The little kitchette had all the essentials and a nice selection of complimentary sachets to make hot drinks and some delicious cookies. The bathroom is a wet room with a hot and powerful shower. We didn't end up going for the breakfast in the main building, but I was told it was great by other family members staying in the main house. The owners are really nice and accommodating, even helping us to find a space to park, and made it happen when we wanted to stay another night. The location is really beautiful, too, with the broads/river right on the doorstep.

Full marks all round for a wonderful bed & breakfast. We stayed in the Garden Room for 2 nights & throughly enjoyed all thatThe Moorhen Guest House had to offer. Super comfy & roomy bed, good shower & delightful room setting. The breakfast choices & quality of food on offer is fabulous. Josie's homemade yoghurt is delicious. The hosts are very friendly & nothing is too much trouble. They seem to really enjoy their life as B&B hosts. Looking forward to returning soon.

Neil and Josie are the perfect hosts - welcoming, full of help, serving a wonderful breakfast. Neil helped us to organise bike and boat rental. The garden room was nice, wonderful to rest in the garden and enjoy the afternoon sun after a day full of activities.

Neil and Josie welcomed us when we checked in and showed us to the room. Breakfast the next morning was great. filled us up for the next days adventure. the kids have not stopped going on about the scrambled egg!! Defiantly recommend this place. will be looking to book again if we head up to this stunning part of the country.

Recently had a three night stay at The Moorhen and it was perfect! Neil and Josie were fabulous hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were varied and plentiful. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, and the bed in The Barton was just as comfy as ours at home. Excellent value. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Neil and Josie, we wish you all the very best x
