I called ahead for a marina with services and the lady who answered was very helpful and welcoming. George at the marina was really polite and friendly - nothing was too much trouble including free overnight mooring, water fill up and a pump out. He even offered to help move the boat! Thanks again!
Just returned from a fantastic week on Jade Emblem. from the moment i booked until the time we left the yard at the end of our holoiday Ferry Marine have been brillianty,on arrival we were shown around the boat by Nial who went over everything although we had been many years ago, everyone we met and talked to from ferry were very helpful, polite and very friendly. the boat was a dream, 2 double berths plus convertable in lounge if needed, 2 toilets and showers and all the kitchen items you needed, also the boat was spotlessly clean hats off to the cleaners. we are now planning 2026 and looking at Golden Emblem, thank you very much ferry for a great week.
Amazing boat! Stayed on the golden emblem 2 and had a great time. The staff are really helpful with teaching you how to drive the boat and the best places to visit.
Very friendly and helpful staff at pickup. Lovely clean boat. Well set out layout of kitchen and good level of equipment. Plenty of space in the bathroom and bedroom areas. Great little boat for 2 people, easy to handle and comfy. Already booked again for next year.
We've holidayed on the Broads dozens of times and found Ferry Marina stand head and shoulders above their competitors. We've just spent a week on Whisper Emblem (again) and had a great time. We picked the boat up a little late (due to traffic) but, as always, the handover was quick and efficient because of the friendly knowledgeable staff. They're also always available over the phone as we found mid holiday when I misunderstood some of the high tech on board (thanks David). All their boats are equipped to a very high standard including hotel quality mattresses and bedding (unusual on boats) but 'Whisper' goes above that by providing almost silent cruising and the ability to creep in and out of crowded moorings without disturbing anyone. You can't do the Broads better than with Ferry Marina.
We’ve rented boats on the Broads several times in the last few years but this was our first renting from Ferry Marina. It won’t be our last; the team there are outstanding. From making the booking right through to handing the boat back, they could not have been more helpful. They are a case study in customer service. We would highly recommend them (and Whisper Emblem, the hybrid boat we hired).
We love the Broads. Life at 4mph and no kids. Ferry Marina people couldn't be more helpful. We don't go anywhere else to hire a boat. Always very clean and comfortable. If I could give them 6 stars, I would.
Great marina, friendly helpful staff to help or guide free mooring with facilities for water and sewerage on busy waterway. Next door to The Ferry Inn pub and easy 5 min walk into Horning Village.
Welcome was friendly and easy. Collected the boat with the minimum of fuss. Keith was excellent and efficient. Highly recommend. Excellent value for money with absolutely no hidden extras which we have had before at other hirers. Definitely would return.
1st Time boating for my partner and I so a little unsure what to expect. We just know we wanted pub visits and some relaxing time. We got exactly what we wished for. The boat was ready for about 12.30 and was immaculate. We were welcomed by Keith who besides doing our safety and training on the boat was very knowledgeable on the area. He pointed us in the right direction of the best places to eat and visit and made us feel very welcome. A great asset to FM. Silent Emblem was our choice, which is an electric boat. This is great! No noisy diesel engine chugging away! The boat was well equipped with toaster, microwave, oven, kettle with a kodern kitchen. The double French doors allowed plenty of light into the bedroom. The bathroom was modern with a rainfall shower head and a tower radiator. Would definitely recommend this boat and Ferry Marina to anyone and would use them again. Try and get Keith too if you can!
