“We had a lovely last minute two night stay for new year at Lavender cottage. The cottage was decorated for Christmas and the welcome pack of bubbly, chocolates and crisps was a lovely touch. The cottage was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and the log burner made the cottage very cosy in the evenings. A great location for us and our dog. A common opposite for a quick walk before bed. Beach just 5 mins by car. Lots of countryside walks.”

“We stayed in Colgate 17, Lodge 5 for nearly three weeks. The experience was excellent. The apartment is situated on Colgate within a quiet neighbourhood, yet is close to the Castle and Market Place (about 10 mins of walking), where you can find shops, cafes, and restaurants to suit your appetite. Supermarkets, grocery and pharmacy stores are also easily available in the near vicinity for you to get necessary stuffs. The apartment is cosy with all the basic facilities that you need during the stay. Communication is clear. The support from Michael and his team was extra-ordinary and prompt. Really nice experience. Thanks very much for the hospitality!”

“Just back from a 3 day and night stay in t The Corn Store, Intwood farm. A lovely rustic style cottage/barn on a working cattle farm. A lovely peaceful quiet place to stay in country surroundings. Nice clean and tidy accommodation, underfloor heating, onsuite bathroom, large bath and shower, comfy bed , a second toilet and wash facilities as well as washing machine, dishwasher all utensils, tea coffee milk sugar salt pepper spare light bulbs washing up tabs and liquid. Towels toilet rolls bedding all excellent. There is a massive Tesco just 3 miles down the road too and a waitrose nearby. 8-10 miles from the broads and 30 -40 MINS drive from the coast. Parking right outside the front door. The hosts were great ,kept us informed at every stage , kept in touch but not intrusive, just email contact. But they were contactable if needed and responsive .”

“The room was very well appointed and comfortable. It was quiet and very safe. The location was chosen because it was halfway between the university and the center of town, which was intentional. Public transportation was very convenient and I enjoyed walking around and exploring the surrounding. neighborhoods. There is a fantastic little neighborhood restaurant a block away, and The Bread Source wholesale bakery is just a short walk away. Geetha was extremely hospitable, helpful and communicative, as I was traveling from America. The public kitchen was sunny, clean and a welcome resource for preparing a few quick meals when I didn’t want to eat out.”

“Big thanks to Dan (Daniel Bush) and everyone at Gilson Bailey throughout our tenancy over the last 4 years. Every issue was promptly responded to with help always at hand. We always had preference for being at the house for inspections, gas safety checks or fixes, which were always accommodated and appreciated. We were too hasty in giving notice so asked Gilson Bailey if we could push back our tenancy end date - we were appreciative as they were happy to approach the landlord again (extra work) who kindly accepted this request. Dan was particularly helpful in advance of our checkout inspection giving us some really valuable advice whilst also reassuring us that the inspection after checkout would be fair in the context of the return of our deposit. It indeed was fair, with Dan going out of his way to help us after checkout, which he certainly wasn't obligated to do - it was very kind. We are very thankful and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gilson and Bailey.”

I was greeted at the apartment and given a tour (it has to be seen to be believed). The apartment is very well equipped to a high standard and very comfortable.
