Lovely comfortable and clean rooms. Ours was quite spacious too. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very nice with great options too. Second time staying and will definitely be back again next year.
Food was good. However, the workmen staying in the room above woke up before 6, therefore waking us up in the room below. Breakfast menu not explained, and self service breakfast items not stocked up. No hot water for a shower in the morning because the hot water tank for the entire hotel was empty by 10:00am. When approached staff they apologised, but were not overly concerned.
Myself and wife had fabulous meals. The steak and mushroom pudding was excellent. The curry also was also very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend & will return
Myself and my husband went for Sunday lunch and throughly enjoyed it. Would be nice to have other options on the menu as well but as I mentioned the roasts are lovely. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the prices were good.
We had a 2 night stay here as attending a birthday weekend. The staff were brilliant! They couldn't have been friendlier and done more for us in any way. Our room was clean and bed really comfortable. The food was wonderful! We had a huge menu choice plus chef special board. Wish this was our local!

Had a Christmas meal here tonight and every course was divine. Good value, and great, attentive staff. Nice setting too.
Great location. Lovely staff. Brilliant food. Very welcoming especially with all the lovely Christmas decorations. Will definitely be going again.
