Absolutely amazing cottage. The location is perfect just a short walk into wroxham. The cottage was so clean and tidy, will defiantly be returning.

Stayed in the Riverside Cottages for just under a week recently. In terms of location, it gets top marks. Pubs and shops are all within a few minutes walking distance. The property itself, space-wise, again gets top marks. However, where we were really disappointed was the overall living conditions. Bearing in mind you're not supposed to enter the property before a certain time, this would infer it is being cleaned/prepared, but this isn't what we found. There was an infestation of cellar (dandy longlegs) spiders. Just as well there was a small vacuum cleaner available. I vacuumed up 14 on the first day. Another 8 on the second day. Then another 3 or 4 each day thereafter. They were everywhere! There's obviously an issue, which could (and should) have been resolved by fumigating the property. The sofa cushions were dirty, covered in pet hairs, which meant they ended up on the floor because no way were we going to lean on them. The outside plastic chairs were filthy, covered in bird poo and dirt, and had to be completely washed down. Likewise for the decking, absolutely filthy. Outside both the front door and the rear patio doors and windows there were cobwebs galore! There's no way a cleaner has been anywhere near these in weeks. The water pressure was rubbish. Other than on the ground floor, the water would just trickle out of the taps, so washing your hands or trying to have a shower was ridiculous. For the shower on the first floor you literally had to stand inches from the shower handle as the flow was so poor. Strange thing, the water from the bath taps (on the top floor) was okay. But the sink taps and the hand-held shower over the bath was a trickle.

Brilliant stay at Anchor Cottage in Wroxham. Lovely holiday home - spotlessly clean and well equipped. Pictures don't do it justice - more spacious and everything freshly painted and well maintained. Would highly recommend for a lovely waterside view.

I wasn't very impressed with riverside cottage. It wasn't particularly clean and didn't smell fresh. It is ideal if you want to use it as a base for fishing but I don't fish I just wanted to watch the world go by. I didn't spend much time in there as it wasn't comfortable. I wouldn't recommend or return.

Pleasant cottages with riverside gardens. We had a nice time watching the boats and feeding the ducks.
