Booked for one night only, work trip. Arrived late and I had to collect the key from the security office. Straight process, friendly staff. The access with the taxi was a bit confusing, no front door access.Close to hospital, nice area ( university campus). It was quieter than expected. Clean room, comfortable bed, kettle and complimentary drinks in the room. The shower was so so but usable. The price was excellent compared to other similar places and extremely short time booking. Overall very pleased. Thank you!
Perfect location for the gig, 100 metres from the venue!! Room was clean and stocked with clean towels, kettle and coffee, hairdryer, fan and walk in shower in a clean bathroom. Receptionist was lovely and very helpful. It was a different experience staying on a university campus, minus most of the students however I enjoyed my stay, full English breakfast was great and I would definitely go back
Just for the shower, it gave me a flipping heart attack turning it on, sprayed all the way up the walls, made everything in the room soaking wet, got me right in the eye with a particularly powerful jet and yet somehow managed to not actually shoot the water out straight enough to even adequately wash the soap off myself. I had to perform ridiculous gymnastics just to wash as simple a thing as my armpits. And unhelpfully, the sign to warn you to shut the bathroom door when showering is cleverly stuck to the back of the door, such that it is not visible unless the door is already shut. I would like to personally praise whomever the bright spark was you thought of that one!
The room was lovely, as was the en-suite. Clean and comfortable. Bed and bedding were so comfy I wanted to take it all home me. Staff were lovely.
Good if you are visiting Uni, however there is no restaurant on site. Good staff members. 2hr late checkout available for 15GBP
This is a university dorm that is furnished and rented out. Note - Parking is confusing- you can’t drive right up to the front door. Arriving at night you have to go to a security gate that isn’t the most obvious. The rooms are clean. Access to the gym is nice.
Drove four hours to Norwich with my son for his football tournament. A good nights sleep was crucial. Very very hot, no air. It was cool outside but the windows opened minimally. Found the fan. Pushed both beds together so we could at least attempt to fall asleep. I didn't sleep till at least 1am, only to wake up at 6am really hot and bothered. We were up early just because we needed to get out. Spent four hours driving back to West Yorkshire. Absolutely shattered. Would have been better driving on the morning of the tournament and saved myself £112. Really not impressed. If you can sleep in the family room in approx 28 degrees warmth I'd say go for it.
Rooms are basic. ok just to sleep in. Clean and well stocked with tea, coffee and toiletries for the night. Down side, walls very thin and was kept awake by neighbours talking till 4am. Was hard to find as it's within the university, no parking outside and 5 min walk from car, found a very friendly student who took us to the lodge as we couldn't find it. Staff on desk were very friendly and helped with any questions we had.
