Brewery bar in and old warehouse \ church hall just on the edge of the town centre. Furniture is a mix of church pews, old hotel chairs and regular tables and chairs. 8 cask taps and 4 draught of their own beers. Brewing equipment visible behind the bar. Music at a level where the sound of chat dominates. Lovely place.
Staff was friendly, the nice decoration was somewhat spoiled by the bright lighting, but unfortunately the beer was pretty horrible. Damn shame, really...
Great pub with loads of memorabilia and a view into the brewery. Delicious hamburger and fantastic chips. And then there is the real ale brewed in house.
This pub is just perfect for a drink or some good food. The atmosphere is amazing, with a large glass wall allowing you to see through to the brewery where beer is made in house. The food is also very good. There are nice tables to sit in as well. I would definately recommend.

Excellent choice, atmosphere. Food is always great and the creativity shown in brewing new beers always gives plenty to explore and to keep you coming back. Most recently an excellent Mild. Yes, they do exist.

Went here Saturday and really liked it. The man behind the bar told us they did food on Sundays until 4.30 and were open until 5 and it says clearly on the door that it's open 12-5 on Sundays. So we went back on Sunday at 4 and were told 'sorry we're closed, we close at 4 on Sundays'
Wow, what a great pub! It was my first visit on a Saturday lunchtime. The bar staff, 2 ladies, were terrific, friendly and pleasant. The beer is top drawer, brewed on the premises and very reasonably priced. Its a great building, and good space, its perfect for a pint, or two, and banter with your mates. Midsummer Meadow on a hot sunny Saturday, with a country music soundtrack that was just perfect. I loved it, so will you.
