    I ordered engine oil on the internet and 1/2 hour later I was called and texted to say my order was in. The staff were excellent I cannot fault them. What was annoying though I also requested that they carry out the top up but unfortunately as my car does not have a dipstick they referred me to an Audi garage. Just needs the website updating. As I say the staff were excellent.

    If I could give 0 I would have Baught a battery in April from then it failed and would not hold its charge.9 Garage said it was not holding charge Halfords would not exchange under there guarantee. THERE GUARANTEE IS A WASTE OF TIME.BUY ELSEWHERE

    I attended halfords store wellibgborough yesterday in order to get a visual health check of my car prior to having booked m.o.t for following day. I was very pleased with the service especially as it was FREE for me as a Halfords registered customer! The male Halfords worker was prompt in attendance following purchase, he was polite and courteous, he was clear in verbal instructions requiring me to turn on lights, pop car bonnet etc, and he was clear in explaining results and that all would be emailed to me the same day. I felt confident in his ability to do his job well.

    Extremely disappointing experience – would strongly advise avoiding. I recently booked my car in for both an MOT and a major service at Halfords, thinking it'd be a simple and convenient option. After dropping it off first thing in the morning, I received a call just before 4pm to say they couldn’t complete either job because an essential piece of equipment wasn’t working. I found it very concerning that this issue was only discovered so late in the day. They offered to rebook me, but the next available slot was several days later – by which point my MOT had expired, leaving my car legally unusable. This was incredibly inconvenient, as I rely on my vehicle daily for a one-hour commute (each way) to work. Still, I decided to give Halfords the benefit of the doubt and returned for the rescheduled appointment this morning. To my disbelief, I was immediately told they still couldn’t carry out the MOT or service due to the same equipment fault. When I asked why no one had contacted me before I arrived, the staff member (who was both rude and dismissive) simply said she had β€œonly just found out.” No solutions were offered – just an apology and the suggestion to wait several more days for another appointment at a different branch. I was left stranded, with an expired MOT, unable to work, and technically in breach of my lease agreement. This experience has been utterly unacceptable from start to finish. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic problem-solving has caused me real financial and personal stress. I won’t be returning to Halfords again and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for reliable and professional service.

    I was happy with the assistance I received in store today purchasing a new car battery and the service of Matt and Vicki ( in replacing the battery and providing a 10 point winter check) at the Wellingborough store went above and beyond. A bad day was greatly improved by the friendly and efficient service. Thank you

    I had new wiper blades fitted which unfortunately, came off while I was driving on a main road in the rain. I called customer services to complain and had a call back straight from a gentleman called Matt who works there. He was extremely helpful and fixed the issue by replacing the blades for me before the end of his shift. The customer service was brilliant so thank you.

    Mark could not have been more helpful. Came out to confirm colour of car and paint needed, was cheerful, respective and knowledgeable. Great representative for your company, well done, will always come back for this level of service.

    So i purchased an electric bike from halfords website and then got a call from the store telling me that there were no new bikes in stock and was i happy with an ex display model. I said i was happy with an ex display model and drove over to the store ot pick it up!! i had to wait for an hour for them to get it ready????? and then they bought this very well used bike out that they claimed was new!!! please see pictures It had bits missing bald tyres scratches and best of all no battery!!!!!!!!! After an other hour of waiting and arguing i walked out of the with a different model only to find this bike had a whole host of fault codes. i contacted the store to be told that they were busy and someone would get back to me! surprise no one did !! The whole experience was embarrassing for myself and the staff and i will never go there again!
