    The item I ordered via "Click and Collect" wasn't waiting for me at the store when I expected. It spent several days "on its way". However, Kristina at the Riverside Store in Northampton made enquiries and appeared to speed up the delivery and I collected it today so I am very grateful for her intervention. I am pleased with the item, a booster seat for a child for a dining chair. It appears well-made yet is light enough to take out to a restaurant. It will be christened when our 18 month old granddaughter visits in a few days time.

    Had a great experience with the help of an employee. We were after a bike for my child, as a very clueless couple with loads of questions on a Monday evening. We were helped by a Superb, friendly and knowledgeable staff member. The interaction went smoothly and hopefully a Christmas gift awaits my child that fits his profile. Thanks to the Northampton (413) Store for all the help!

    Definitely negative, so , this year many cases , beginning with Halfords advanced tool changing ( waiting more than 3 weeks for replacement) and online car part ordering. Because of last issue, I had enough. Did order parts online for my car Saturday 13:30 ,with collection from store in Northampton branch after one hour. Of course went twice to shop , and didn't get anything, replying with stupid excuses. So , have to use taxi to get to work Sunday. Now is Sunday, and still nothing. Strongly no advice to anyone to buy parts , if you need want parts from Halfords within a certain window don't rely on Halfords.

    Great customer service from Kim. Visited for a bike and even though it was busy they went above their duty. We had gone to another Halfords store in northampton and the service was night and day in comparison. I was really appreciative of the communication throughout our visit and advice given. The staff were all friendly and made you feel at ease.

    Ordered a dash cam online, including fitting. Arranged the fitting date and time. The fitting calendar was made available as soon as I paid. I received several updates and instruction that my items were ready for collection at my designated store. The person in the Halfords store was very cheerful, courteous, efficient and helpful. She checked my details, collected the items and then checked that my precooked appointment was correct. The overall price was very competitive. The whole transaction was flawless. I hope the fitting will live up to expectations.

    Booked a fitting assessment for a in car entertainment system. So went there and they didn’t even need to check the car. Was a bit pointless. They then ordered the stereo and parts and booked us in for a fitting. The morning of that fitting day we got a call to be told it was water damaged. Surely this could have been checked a few days before. Anyway they then said they would ring us in the next days with a new date for fitting. We got no call. So we went to the shop to be told the fitter was off unwell which was fair enough but they said they couldn’t even check his schedule. Which is defintley not true. Surely someone in the store would have access to the master schedule. They didn’t even know if a new stereo had been ordered. We got told we would get rang on the Thursday when he was back in. However we got no call. They even wrote our name and phone number down. So we went to the shop again. They said they would re order a third stereo just as a back up. In other words they were saying it hadn’t been reordered. They then said the next fitting date was 11 days away. As the only fitter was on holiday. So we cancelled it. Awful customer service.
