Got charged 240 for a battery worth 140. (Checked code after fitting). Plus 60 to fit the battery. Could have understood if they charged £100 including the garage behind them fitting the battery. With that, the garage coded the wind down of the window incorrectly. Honest prices and work get returned customers. Something this company won't getting customer wise from me.
My wife and i called here after hearing it was a Hot Wheels heaven. What an amazing place there were literally Hot Wheels and other scale model cars floor to ceiling. Dave who owns the shop was very friendly, he even let me behind the counter to look at some rare models. We came away with 9 models and we’ll definitely be back. It was well worth the 112 miles journey there. If you’re a Hot Wheels collector then pay the shop a visit you won’t be disappointed.
This place is always my first and only go to whenever there is anything wrong with my car. Nothing is ever too much trouble and I am always greeted with a smile and never made to feel silly, no matter how big, small, difficult or easy the job may be. Top Gear have kept my cars going for many years now and looked after numerous of my dad's cars and vans for pretty much decades before now. You're in safe hands here and the issues are always fully explained and they go above and beyond to source the appropriate parts required to complete a job. Just today, I had a slight emergency issue that needed seeing to and I was able to have it checked out almost immediately. Thanks for keeping my little old banger on the road just a bit longer, even if the bulbs are a pain to replace!
I’m really disappointed with the customer care that my wife received today. My whole family loved this store, we’re all piston heads. Especially my autistic son, he lives for cars. We would always go in here and buy a small toy car for him, and I’ve used them many times for buying parts for my classic cars. But this evening my wife parked up out the front, like usual, but this time went to get a drink for my boy next door first to then come back and buy him a few toys for Christmas. But she was then greeted with a shop worker arguing with her to not park out the front, even though she said she is coming into the store but she just had to grab my son a drink first. She was then consistently told off to the point my son and her broke down in tears, she apologised and left. I’m absolutely disgusted with the service, especially after making my little boy get upset. Devastated, after talking to the owner last year hearing he may lose his store, I done nothing but pass the word around at how lovely this original store was. But after this customer care this evening, I’ll never set foot in the store again. Such a shame.
