    I visited the store on the evening of Dec 1st, there was only one member of staff to deal with a lot of customers who had different reasons for their visit, a few with queries that required more attention that the usual ‘Click & Collect’ service. I could see that the girl working was a tad overwhelmed but managed to keep cool, calm and collected and kept the queue moving as quickly and swiftly as possible. She was apologising to every customer in the queue due to having to wait a bit longer than usual (this Argos store is usually very fast with their service). As someone who has worked in retail for a long time, I know how stressful it can get, especially in the build up to Christmas… but she handled it wonderfully so Kudos to her! I reassured her that she was doing a great job and to take her time with my order. I also told her that I will put a good word in for her! So a big thank you to Morgan for your brilliant customer service! I also hope the store manages to resolve the problem with having members of staff, especially young girls, working alone on a busy night like this was.

    After being left hanging at Longton Argos who clearly just didn't want to help, we drove to Stoke Sainsburys Argos. A man named Chris spoke to us, gave us advice on how to get an online purchase, then attempted to order our item for us in store. He arranged for the item to be delivered to my house saving me the hassle of trying to do online stuff. Very grateful to him, I believe he went above and beyond! He certainly didnt reflect his Grumpy Elf tshirt! Longton staff, shame on you.

    Absolutely shocking customer service and the floor management was an a joke. I’ve been to this store twice and it’s two times to many. I will never use Argos again due to the incompetence of this store.

    I had a very poor experience at this store. I came in to return a faulty product that I bought online, and before I even gave my order number or explained the issue, 3 female staff members said to me: “You tried to return this earlier.” This was completely untrue. They looked at me negatively, refused to check my order, and didn’t inspect the item at all. I was dismissed instantly based on an assumption that had nothing to do with me. I then went to another Argos store, and the staff there apologised for the way London Road handled the situation, they confirmed it was a male who tried to do so earlier and I had originally collected the order from this very store from the same staff, which makes it even clearer the London road argos acted inappropriately. No customer should be wrongly accused or judged before their order is even checked. The treatment I received here was unacceptable.

    Terrible customer service. Returned an item and was told that she ‘would allow a return just this once’, even though the item was visibly damaged, but had not been removed from the packaging. Would never buy from Stoke Argos again. And the lady who was dealing with me, really needs to attend a customer service course.

    I visited this store today, I had the worst experience today, there was a male worker his name was James, and there was two female workers I can’t remember their names. I spoke to my manufacturer numatic and they are more than happy to replace my product with another one, but Argos won’t accept me exchanging, they said I’ve got no warranty, I’ve got 9 months left, and on top of that numatic have an extended warranty of 2 years with Argos for faulty products, they have failed to accept my product back, they said to me make a video, this is absolutely terrible service, I mentioned to them i have my disabled son how am I mean to make a video for you showing you when it trip, the excuses they made just to not help me. Spoke to manufacturer infront of them and they are helping me picking it up from me. Just some advice you have been recorded and I am a public figure and I will be posting and making Argos service viral as it’s terrible, fix up, do not shop here at stoke on trent Sainsbury Argos on London road.

    I visited the store today to return an item which I bought as a Christmas present for a family member. The argos website specifically says that if you wish to make a return you can visit any argos store. I was confronted by a gentleman at this store who first told me he would be happy to exchange the item, I explained that this was not what I was asking for. When I repeated my request for a refund. He then said that they could not process the refund at this store due to 'stock levels'. Very poor customer service, this resulted in me travelling to another Argos store who processed my refund with no quibbles.

    The fact that Argos is located right at the back of the shop ! If you Require Anything big or heavy you have to traipse it all the way back though Sainsbury’s and they didnt ever help me with 2 bikes luckily Sainsburys member of staff help me !
