Excellent service today in Halfords, popped in asking about battery charger, and collared a young lad, thinking he wouldn't be able to answer my specific questions, how wrong was I?? It's true never judge a book by it's cover this young lad Jacob, knew his onions he explained in great detail which type of charger I required, even asked what battery was on my vehicle and explained how and why I needed this specific charger. Very helpful and courteous.

Absolutely excellent service today! I went to Halfords to get a headlight fitted. Guy who served me was upselling but did it in a very friendly, not pushy way. The guys who fitted my headlamps were efficient and also friendly and professional. Overall a very happy trip! Thank you!
I recently bought a brand-new bike from this shop, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. When I first collected the bike, it was not properly adjusted or ready to ride as promised. I almost had an accident because of how poorly it was set up. I returned the bike immediately and asked them to fix and adjust it properly, but I was charged £20 for this, which I found unreasonable since the bike should have been in perfect condition when sold. They told me to collect it on Monday, assuring me that everything would be sorted. However, when I went back, nothing had been fixed — the bike was exactly the same as when I left it. When I asked one of the technicians, he said he hadn’t worked on it and that another mechanic, who wasn’t present, had done the work. I was then told to come back again. This whole experience was completely unprofessional and disappointing. The customer service, communication, and attention to detail were all below standard. I would not recommend this shop to anyone, and I hope they take this feedback seriously to improve their service.
Signed up to the free vehicle check on Friday when I went in to have my wiper blades changed. Excellent customer service from Dan who fitted these and amended my tyre pressure. Obviously loves his job (been there 14 years and still really enthusiastic). Other staff seemed equally knowledgeable, helpful and happy. Well done Halfords!
I came down to store to pick up a new car battery as they have a 5year guarantee. Even though it was busy the queue went down quickly, I asked the guy to double check it was the right one before I purchased. I also had a £5 off voucher to spend. I had a quick and efficient service. I will be returning.
Have been using this branch for the last three years with reasonable success, but recently purchased an item which turned out to have damage, so returned to store and they had no more in stock which meant it needed ordering. I agreed despite wasting two trips and queuing for half an hour. Later same day received email message stating my order has been cancelled! Gave it few days hoping for some kind of communication but received none! Very disappointed and will not use this branch anymore. Staf is hit and miss too, so best to try someone else instead.
Good service from staff in store but product not up to standard! Bought the 200% brighter headlight bulbs and no way are they even a bit brighter! Waste of money should have stuck with the cheaper standard ones. Halfords if you said up to 200% brighter you would cover yourself. Dissapointed.
I decided to get into cycling so thought I'd start here. Halfords have a large range of bikes and it didn't take long to find one I liked. All the other bits and bobs are stocked there too at reasonable prices. Kyle helped me with frame size etc, he was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Would have got 5 stars if the bike I wanted was in stock, I'm trying to wait patiently!
