   Purchased travel insurance from this company per recommendation of a UK bike tour operator. Was unable to take bike tour due to illness during the trip to England. Refused to cover the bike tour as the policy that they sold me as a US visitor (vs the UK resident policy that was suggested) only covered the accommodations and not the tour amount. In end, only 25% of cost of tour and insurance was covered. Perfectly legal, but when you buy travel insurance you expect it to cover the travel costs. The tour didnt separate accommodations from other expenses and evidently if I had been a UK resident it would have been covered. Do not do business with them. Also note that they have four 5 star reviews from 4 years ago, and then no other reviews other than another 1 star since then. Very suspicious that the only reviews would be 5 star reviews close together.

   I've been trying to renew my insurance for days, but the payment system only offers the option of paying in euros, while I need to pay in dollars with my card. I've tried several times, both on the computer (as customer service said) and by phone, but nothing: it still doesn't work. It's absurd that something so simple can become so complicated. Translate into English It would be fair to receive greater support from the insurance company, considering that it was their choice to adopt this type of payment system.
