   Doggy place avoid at all £900 for clutch to replace and this guy who is dealling inside with reception such a rude and liar as he was demanding £51 for inspection car while he is saying may be clutch problem may be gear box problem. So he is not sure actual problem and charging £51 for nithing . Spoke with trading standard and police for keeping illegal kept key and car in garage and refused to give keys back and car . Please avoid this place . Day light robbery. What a shane sheltune to serve community with this ugly service.

   Had 4 new tyres fitted, only took an hour and 30mins. Staff seemed knowledge and fair. Drinks machine was out of order. (I walked over to Ryan's Cafe on Boothlane, very good coffee and baked stuff). Will be taking my car here from now on. Chaps there had a good sense of humour, and some of their interactions with customers made me smile. On customer had hearing issues, the staff spoke up and made the customers day.

   Took my car here for a new battery. The battery ended up being the least of my concerns! They replaced the battery but highlighted that there was also water ingress into the boot. I authorised the repair. I returned two days later and a £570 bill. The arrogant, how dare you question me individual at the desk, assured me all was corrected and I'm sorted. For the first time, I reviewed the 4 months interest free option that the garage offered and I took advantage of, there was a £39 admin charge. I asked what that was, I was informed that the interest free company that I bought into charged the garage £39 for the transaction, therefore the garage added on £39 to my bill to compensate themselves. Day later whilst having my car valeted, I was informed that there is a prolific water ingress problem into the boot. ( the boot contains all the elec controls and the fuse box. ( Merc 220D AMG Coupe ) Returned to Shelltune Northampton immediately, felt like they treated the moment as tho it was wholly my fault now. My car remained there for a full n further 5 days whilst they corrected the water ingress. Then picked up by me. 2 days later, opened the boot, water ingress everywhere still. CUSTOMER BEWARE.. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF N SMILE AS YOU LEAVE. Genuinly saddened n shocked. Update... Finance company has refunded me £39 really wanted this garage to be upstanding, they are less than a mile from my home. They are currently, scammers.

   I took my car to this garage because it was having some issues, and they told me that both the clutch and gearbox needed to be replaced. They quoted me a whopping £890 for the repairs. Sensing something was off, I decided to get a second opinion from a different mechanic. Turns out, the only problem was the clutch! The other mechanic fixed my car perfectly for just £400. It’s clear that this garage lied about the problems just to get more money from me. This kind of dishonesty is unacceptable. I would strongly not recommend this garage to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and find a trustworthy mechanic instead.

   I have used these guys for many years and never go anywhere else, because I completely trust them. The Best Service ever, and you will never be ripped off, they are just a great team of people. Promise you, if you want good service you can trust, then this is where to go. I would recommend them to everybody without hesitation. They did some work for me again today and really excelled sorting my issue with my car. Friendly, Honest, Reliable and Proffessional. Thank you again everybody, you are stars. Fred.

   Unfortunately we have been left very disappointed from the service that we have received from Sheltune over the past week. Initially we were pleased with their service they would always get us in on short notice and we thought they were always honest and very quick. We took a small (& relatively new) van in for an MOT. Later that day we had a call advising that it had failed on Brake pads & disks & 3 tyres. We were told that all the above needed doing in order for it to pass. We asked for a quote and were given a quote £970+ VAT. We declined for the work to be done and took it to another local garage who have passed the MOT with the tyres as an advisory. We called Sheltune and asked to speak with a manager so we could discuss how this had happened. We were met with hostility and advised they had no notes on the MOT that they had carried out. We are so disappointed that a local company that we had used for years now feel the need to rip another local company off .

   We use this for most of the families cars .. trusted them for years and will still do so reasonable prices and do what they say they will .. never had a ohh it needed a new swimming pool inserting into the engine manifold that's £6000 please .. they will if you ask always check with you before work is done

   Recently had a repair of a new alternator. Cost 600 ! 300 of which was labour for 2.5hrs. Was very quick service and staff were polite but price seems very high !

   Always a good job, very quick too. I've been going here for a few years now. Most recently, I took my car up in the morning, it was MOT'd, and had some small work done by the afternoon. Even though they were super busy. Fantastic service.
