   We parked up, when on a nice walk then popped in for lunch and beers. Great menu, solid choice of booze. The boss had a steak and I had a pie. It was one of the best pies I've ever had; great crust, excellently cooked filling. Fiends also enjoyed it and it's dog friendly. Top stuff.

   We are currently staying local to this pub in an airbnb and thought we would give it a try. Wow, so glad we did! I had the Tbone steak and my partner had the fillet and we both agreed it was probably the best steaks we ever had, especially for a pub. Staff were great and service was speedy. 100% will be coming back

   Arrived on Sunday evening without a booking. They fitted us in on a lovely table. Great service, Great pint, Great food and Great atmosphere. We had a really good time and cant believe this place was off our radar. Look forward to our next visit!

   Received this as a gift for a 3 course meal, overnight stay & full English the following morning. We just paid for drinks. The area is very rural & scenic. The accommodation was in a converted barn next to the pub. Very comfortable & thoughtfully presented double bed & en suite. The staff were wonderful. Kind, funny, natural, professional & knew their job inside out. Nothing was too much trouble, very attentive without being invasive & genuinely wanting you to have the best experience possible. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Portions are very generous. You can dine in the bar area with your dog but not allowed in the accommodation. Think this is a shame & maybe they could consider having just one room for us devoted dog owners? The area is fab for walking. Kind of ''middle of nowhere'' but just a short drive to urbanity! Amazing value for money & absolutely we'll be going back ❤️ Thankyou Team Ryles for a fabulous stay ❤️

   Stopped in here after a trip to the local Blaze farm with our toddler. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the place was very modern and clean. The food menu was very good with lots of choice. I had a steak and red wine pie and it was delicious, my wife had a fish and chips without fault and our son had a burger and chips. They gave him the option for beans or peas and as he couldn’t decide gave him both at no extra charge which was a nice touch. Not expensive for the quality, service and setting. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

   Not having stayed there, but would consider it. Everything associated with our group visit was lovely, staff polite, and efficient. The meals were lovely and plentiful, each one served nicely. A good and varied menu to please all tastes and reasonably priced. It was a very enjoyable evening

   Hadn't been here for food for a long time. Numerous people had told us how good it is so the 4 of us went for a meal in Oct 2022... Been back another 3 times in 2 months. There is a great selection of meals (steaks, chicken skewers, fish, mixed grills, burgers, all sorts), all the food is excellent: piping hot, good value and delicious. The service is outstanding too... We'll be back again soon.

   This is a bit out of the way but parking is excellent and part of the pubs charm is that it's in the countryside. Lovely interior matching traditional and contemporary design. Service always good and food generally very good pub food, not an amazing gastro type pub but good food. Big portions too if you're hungry and loads to choose from on the menu and specials. They also do a really good dine and stay offer which was awesome. The breakfast was really delicious and the rooms are lovely, they only have a few. The stay was also good value as you got dinner included. Well worth it!!

   Hannah was particularly helpful. We wanted to add 2 more people to our table. Despite it being last minute and an incredibly busy time of year, she seated us all beautifully. The food was excellent. The young servers were efficient and courteous. All in all we had a great evening-

   Nice pub with great food, what amazed us was that vegetarian options on the menu. We had a good meal and a nice drink to calm down the hunger pangs after a good trek. Also portion sizes were big as compared to other places we tried. Food tasted really nice.
