Absolutely stunning micro bar based in the heart of Wolstanton, selling an ever changing selection of cask ales and craft IPA, sour cans, ioa cans, hight strength stout cans, dog friendly, they accept card or cash which is perfect. A non swearing policy must be adhered to which brings in a very respectful clientele.. will always be a local favorite.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Whippet Inn in Wolstanton, and it was an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff who made me feel right at home. They are knowledgeable about their ales and genuinely eager to help you find the perfect brew to suit your taste. The selection of craft ales is impressive, offering a variety that caters to all preferences at very competitive prices. Whether you're a seasoned ale enthusiast or just looking to try something new, there’s something for everyone! The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it an ideal spot to catch up with friends or enjoy a quiet evening. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by The Whippet Inn – you won't be disappointed!

Was visiting close friends for their wedding and popped in here for a drink. Staff very friendly as well as locals. Very nice/clean pub. We didn't have food so no rate for this.

Located in an unassuming small parade of shops, the Whippet Inn was a great find. Loving all things whippet and real ale led us to this excellent micro pub on a wet Saturday afternoon. The friendly welcome from the staff and genuine interest in us as customers, shows what a well run establishment this is. We tried 3 of the ales within our party; all were well kept and in top condition. If you’re in the area I’d recommend popping in, even if you haven’t a whippet with you !!

Superb craft pub, offers a good selection of porters, ales, lagers, ciders and spirits to suit even the pickiest of palettes. Staff are wonderful, both friendly and knowledgeable. The regulars are very welcoming, visit once and no doubt it'll feel like a home away from home! No need to wonder what they have on tap before you visit either as they always keep their social media up to date with the newest of arrivals too.

Friendly, good beers , ciders at reasonable prices. Great job by Julie and Craig. Very welcoming - if you haven't tried it yet then as an alternative to other bars in the area it is well worth a try. Well behaved dogs and their owners are welcome.
