Had service and Mot. When they had done the oil change, they told me the car was leaking oil. Apparently, despite having had no oil leak before the oil change, it wasn't their fault but they could change the oil filter housing. This would cost £480. They couldn't find any hairline crack or any other reason why it should now be leaking. I was frequently told by the receptionist that it wasn't their fault. Furthermore they couldn't get the part for at least a fortnight and that being middle of December, it would probably be the new year. A friend who is a mechanic by trade had the part purchased within an hour and delivered within a week. Avoid at all costs

Used this garage before for MOT and thought I’d found a great place. I was WRONG. Came in today with coolant leak, they’ve quoted me £722.46 to replace an oil cooler! In shock I’ve took my van back. They printed me off a broken down quote of works, £228 for cooler, £85 for housing and £59 for gaskets. I’ve been online and found the SAME BRAND as quoted for the whole housing, cooler and gaskets all in 1 for £76. That’s right £76. Instead of the nearly £400 in parts quoted. They then quoted £238 in labour for an hours work. Now I’m all for people making money but these lot are absolute rip of merchants. Absolute disgrace and no wonder mechanics have a bad name. Lost what would have been a loyal customer, and quite frankly I’ll be ensuring everyone I know knows that this place is having people’s pants down.

Took my car to the car wash next door, for this garage to take a long distance photo of it, being an exotic car, and for them to advertise it on their website as if they did work on it. They never touched my Evora, and their photography skills are just as poor. Attached is the photo they took.

I don’t recommend this garage. My car broke down not far from there. I live in London. My car got towed there and I had to pay around £120 for them to check what was wrong, next day got phone call from them saying that it’s a strange fault and they have to check properly to find out what’s wrong and only for that will be another £500 …. I refused their service. I went there and pushed my car from their premises. My usual car mechanic went there to check my car and found that it was only the diesel pump wasn’t working and still managed temporary fix my car and actually drive it back down to London. And charge me only £500 for bringing it back home and to replace the pump. Where’s this garage wanted £500 for further diagnosis….. scammers

MOT carried out the mechanic said there was a bolt missing from my front wheel, I had previously washed the car and wheels by had with all bolts in place. They then proceeded to charge £10 for a used bolt. (which was exactly the same as the bolts on my car). Looks like the mechanic wanted me to pay for his lunch. Can't recommend and won't go back.

Had a little accident - wing mirror damaged. Called the team and they could not have been more helpful. Within 20mins, sorted and fixed. And less than an hour before closing for Xmas! This is exactly why I keep going back! Great service.

I’ve always found autobarn to be a very professional garage, that is until this morning when I took my car in for service and was spoken to like a lump of S@&T by the female receptionist. Basically accusing me of lying about the fact I’d been told I could bring the car in for 9am and not 8:30 and that I was late etc. took the car away and won’t be going back. Not how to treat your customers autobarn.. I must say that prior to meeting this woman the guys who I’ve dealt with have been great
