   I can’t recommend Nigel highly enough. He did a very professional job repairing my faulty gearbox and the quality of his work was outstanding. From start to finish, he was honest, reliable, and clearly very knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and made sure the job was done properly, not rushed. It’s rare to find a mechanic you can truly trust, and Nigel is definitely one of them. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an honest and skilled mechanic.

   Really pleased that a problem with my ignition causing my car to not run properly and a long-standing issue (assuming this may have been related) that had not been diagnosed appropriately by other garages was fixed by Automative Engineering. I was a first-time customer when I brought it in and I appreciated being told how the pricing structure worked when I dropped off my car, that sort of transparency doesn't always happen!

   First came across Nigel, few years ago when I had gear box problem. Audi dealer quoted a major work with no guarantee. Where as Nigel explained to me what was happening with my gear box, thus avoiding very expensive repairs. I have since used his garage for all my car servicing and repairs. I would recommend Nigel for his honesty and very good customer service.
