   Fantastic support from start to finish. Not only were we able to find a perfect first car for our son, your friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure we had support throughout. We have had the car a year and not only has it been great to drive but you have support in the reminder for the upcoming MOT which we were able to book in without hassle. Always helpful, friendly and honest in all the work you carry out, with the ability for us to reach out as and when needed. Thank you, we will surely continue to come back.

   A garage that goes above and beyond to keep motor vehicles safe and road worthy. I’d recently put my dinky little Corsa in for its MOT, although not the oldest car being a 2009 model, it always needs a lot of love and a lot of love it was given! The team at SMC kept me well informed throughout and had the car back to me in the same day. Dead impressed.    Just had my second service this year with Stratford motorists centre, always have my car serviced around May and again in November, have used this garage for around 8 years, and always been very pleased with the quality of service I received, both for my car and also my wife’s ,the staff are friendly, helpful and very professional, they always advise on any problem found and ask for my instructions before carrying out any work, the technician will always explain the problem in detail, and show me the worn out parts when asked , on one occasion I had a problem and they managed to find the fault and repair it while I waited, they also fitted a new bulb at no cost as they said I was a regular customer. If asked they arrange collection and return the car. In my opinion Stratford Motorists Centre go the extra mile, with their can do , and nothing is to much trouble attitude, plus they offer competitive prices with unbeatable service.

   Took my car here for a service and was told I needed £900 worth of repairs, including new tyres (which I already knew about), brake discs and pads, and shock absorbers. They also claimed they couldn’t find my wheel lock and couldn’t remove the wheels. When they returned the car, they said I was “lucky” another Fiesta had come in so they could use that car’s wheel nut to get my wheels off. I didn’t pay for the repairs and instead went to another garage I trust to sort out the tyres. They immediately told me that my wheels weren’t even locked, meaning I never needed a wheel nut in the first place- so that story was completely untrue. They also checked my brakes and shock absorbers and confirmed that everything was still in fine condition and didn’t need replacing. It feels like this garage tried to take advantage of me, possibly because I’m a woman. I’d strongly advise others - especially female drivers - to avoid this place unless you want to be overcharged for repairs that don’t actually need doing.

   Repairs seems to be rated well but buying a used car isn't, without going into to much detail a car we bought from stratford motors 5 months ago (i work nearby so thought it was a trusted local place)has developed a major fault and after being looked at today by them it's unsafe to drive,we were told it can be fixed,(as it's a big cost and we've only just paid out for the car)we had to work out if it's worth it as it's a major engine fix and a major quote,so to put it politely customer service wasn't really up to scratch!!, basically all we got was we need the car moved off our forecourt not even an offer of a tow back home which is 5 minutes down the road so we have had to get another garage to pick it up tomorrow,come on stratford motors that's terrible customer service and as your a local business even more disappointing.

   Took my car here for an MOT. I was told that it had failed on 3 points and that it would cost excess of £400 to repair. I took the car to a second garage to re MOT it and was told the only fault was a tyre which got repaired. The two faults they mentioned didn’t need doing and there was nothing wrong with the parts mentioned. Tried to scam me out of money that wasn’t needed.

   So nice to be able to find a trustworthy garage these days especially when you are a ditzy woman like me. They were speedy to fix my problem and explained to me what caused it and gave me advice so I can try and prevent it happening again. Very friendly, accommodating and obliging and I would totally feel safe and happy to go back again. Good old fashioned service.

   Our daughter Mel needed to new tyres on her car this was dealt with Super efficiently and fitted the same day. Our daughter has used the garage on a number of times they are very good value and dont rip their customers off. All in all a brilliant garage and definitely worth using Thankyou to all of their staff for their dedication and commitment to.

   We visited SMC to look at a car for my 18 year old son(his first car).We arrived having arranged online to view the vehicle.We travelled in from Oxford,so a fair drive,but not miles away.Upon arrival we made our way to reception and was greeted by a friendly receptionist who,having first sanatized the keys,handed them to us,all covid measures were in place ,and invited us to go and look at the car while she informed the mechanic/salesman of our arrival. This was a young,friendly guy who let us really prod and poke around the car and was happy to answer any questions we had to ask,at no point did we feel pressurized,which makes a refreshing change! After a good 30 minutes giving it the once over,i like to be thorough! My son and i took it for a test drive,because of covid restrictions we went alone and were asked only for my driving licence and keys to my Audi as insurance,more than reasonable i think.We took the car for a good 20 minute drive,and i was happy it was running and driving ok,infact it drove very nicely for a 2005 car and was in remarkable condition for its age.We arrived back at base,and a 5 minute negotiation ensued,who pays windscreen price! we agreed a figure we were mutually happy with,and went to reception to sort some paperwork.A few days later we noticed that the handbrake had quite a long travel on it,so i emailed the guys at SMC who were only to happy to help,i returned with the car and it appeared that the passenger side rear brake needed a new spring adjuster,they ordered the part and fitted it while i waited,all at no cost to us,these guys really did go the extra mile to help make the whole deal go smoothly,and when there was a problem they were only to happy to assist us and get it all sorted,im sure my son will have many happy miles of motoring,HIGHLY recommended.
