I have been a loyal customer of John’s Motors for over 30 years and can honestly say that the mechanical work that they do and the vehicles that they sell are second to none . I would describe the business and the proprietor as totally honest , trustworthy, knowledgeable and friendly.

Recently had my car in for a service, the team were able to book me in quickly and carried out the work at a reasonable price. Very friendly, would come back again.

Great place to visit and get work done on your Vintage, classic or modern car. Jon is very knowledgeable and always up for a chat. The forecourt has lots of interesting vehicles and showroom is awesome.

Me and my family attended a 'Tea and cake' car run on Saturday (9th July), at the end of the run the people who took part in the car run were all served with tea and cake. I would say that I was disappointed with how the cakes were served as we were given a very small size which surprised us (other people seemed to give the same impression as us aswell). We were also expecting a seating area to have our tea and cakes, but instead we had to stand whilst having our tea and cakes. This car run was attended by a majority of older people (pensioners), so seating would have been appreciated.

Popped in today and asked if we could look at cars in showroom and was greeted by John, had all the time for us and very proudly showed us around. The passion this guy has for classic cars is infectious and he warmly invited us to a classic car show and gave all details. Not fortunate to own a classic car but when I am would not hesitate to buy from John. His passion is a amazing and he is a dying breed, thank you.

Best job I’ve ever had working for John’s Motors. Jon and Will are both very experienced at what they do. Alison is so nice to customers and a positive person to have working the office. Jon paid me well and treated me like his own son. Will knows so much, and was always happy to help me when I ran into a problem with anything. It was an upsetting day for me when I handed in my notice, but I did so for my own personal reasons, and left on good terms with everyone at John’s Motors. I highly recommend John’s Motors for all classic car owners, what Jon doesn’t know about Minis, Jaguars and Caterhams isn’t worth knowing

The most arrogant owner, rude with apparent anger issues. I rang and very politely asked if they could ask delivery drivers to not park on the A5 junction due to having a near miss as a white transit van was parked blocking my view of the road. His lovely receptionist said she would mention it as she knew who it was and was incredibly apologetic. We had a lovely conversation and it ended very nice. The owner of the business (John I presume?) then called me back 35 minutes later shouting at me because I’d dare mention it. I felt threatened and he wasn’t willing to even acknowledge what I was saying, wouldn’t let me speak. He spoke down to me and tried to belittle me then hung up. I tried to call him back to finish our conversation in a friendly way but he answered then hung up then wouldn’t pick up after that. I do hope what I said originally has been thought about so this doesn’t happen again.
