   I had a small problem I couldn’t fix myself. I just needed a light bulb replaced. I went to Halford's who after 3 employees attempted to remove the bulb told me it was fused in place and could not be removed. I pointed out they had refitted a bulb in the same place last year they said sorry, but it was jammed and couldn’t be removed. I then went to the Garage I had bought the car from who said sadly they had no mechanics in that day but suggested I speak with Scott at Elm Auto’s who did work from them from time to time. Have gone to Elm one of the chaps there said he would have a look. He removed the bulb replaced to and all in 5 minutes. When I tried to pay, he said forget it, it was only a £1 bulb. What a breath of fresh air to meet a professional company who see the big picture, if you look after customers they will come back to you. Great Guys and a top-notch Garage.

   I highly recommend this garage. They are polite for a start which sounds basic but given some of the garages I've experienced in St Neots, this is a breath of fresh air!. But they also sorted my son's car and helped with a lot of information about it that went above and beyond. I'm always happy with the service here and have been using for a few years now

   Called Elm Autos as I needed a new battery. Gave them my car details and they quickly called me back with a very reasonable price. A little over an hour later, the new battery was fitted and I was on my way. Great service, friendly guys, would not hesitate to use again or recommend to others.

   I have been using Elm Auto Services for the last few years. I switched because Scot went out of his way to help me after my local dealership suggested work that didnt need doing. I have switch everyone in my house hold to Elms they are honest and reasonably priced. When possible they advise me what is going to need doing before it actually does and I trust them implicitly. Elms is a reputable garage with friendly staff and can be trusted to do an excellent job at a good price.

   Booked my car in for a full service and MOT. I had a big fail in the MOT. I was contacted to discuss the issue and more importantly that I was happy with the cost of the repair before any work was started. I was updated throughout the day on the progress which I liked. I found the staff friendly, helpful and polite. When I collected my car, all the work was explained and the old parts shown to me. I was also extremely impressed that they completed the work within the day. This was my first time here and I was very impressed and would have no problem in recommending Elm Auto’s.

   This is a trustworthy garage with a good sense of customer service. The staff were more than happy to speak with me whenever I called and asked for an update. I took my MX-5 in for a check after the battery went flat, and they checked the battery/alternator free of charge. Would have no qualms about coming here again for an MOT or repair.

   Appalling service. Booked Car in Monday and explained the issue was a split radiator pipe. I explained that i needed it fixing urgently and was assured they could do it told it was booked in for 10.30 in the Wednesday. Took it this morning at 8.30 and told would get a call when fixed. Didn't hear so called at lunchtime to check progress was told they would speak to the mechanic to get an update and called back. Did not hear anything so called again at 4 to be told the same thing and they would call me in 5 mins when they spoke to mechanic. Still no call so 30 mins later called again got told they were on a job and would call back in 5 mins but assured me that when they left it was being worked on and would call when they got back to the garage. Suprise suprise no call so husband called again at 5 to be told that it wasn't fixed and that they had to order the part and would be 72 hours. Why they couldnt tell me when I called one of the 4 times that it wouldn't be ready is beyond me as this would have given me a chance to find someone else to fix it. Have used this garage many time for MOTS but will not be taking it or any of my other cars there again and certainly will not be recommending them either.
