I am disappointed with how I have been treated by Zental after being a patient with them for years. According to the practice, they have now placed a note on their system stating that they will no longer deal with me due to missed appointments since 2022. I want to explain the context behind those missed visits because I feel this decision is unfair and does not reflect my circumstances or the effort I made to stay in touch. In February 2022 I broke my spine and spent three months in the John Radcliffe Hospital. I now have metal rods in my L2 and L3 vertebrae and live with chronic pain every day. Whenever I missed an appointment, it was never out of carelessness — it was because of my medical condition making it impossible for me to attend. I always paid the fee for every missed appointment, even though I am not on benefits and cannot work properly due to my injury, which made those charges extremely difficult for me financially. The most recent appointment I missed happened because I was mistakenly arrested and kept in a cell for 10 hours. I physically could not attend the appointment. I tried to call and rearrange it and left multiple voicemails, but I was ignored for two weeks. When I finally got through to someone today, I was told that the practice manager had the right to refuse to see me again, and there was no willingness to understand or even acknowledge my circumstances. I am not asking for special treatment — only fairness and basic compassion. My missed appointments were due to serious, documented medical issues and one exceptional situation completely out of my control. I always paid the fees and always tried to communicate. To be removed as a patient despite all of this feels unreasonable and deeply upsetting
This dental practice was absolutely amazing with my child who has autism. The staff were incredibly kind, respectful and really knowledgeable about how to support kids with special needs. They made the whole experience so much easier for us. Highly recommend them
No one likes the dentist - but imagine a dentist that is so relaxing you feel as though you are in a day spa! Imagine no more! One trip to Zental and Im a firm fan! All staff welcoming and professional- I knew I was in safe hands!
I had my teeth cleaning done with Zaynab at Zental, and it was an amazing experience! She was professional, gentle, and made the whole process so comfortable. My teeth feel so clean and fresh! I’m really happy with the results. Highly recommend her and Zental for anyone looking for excellent dental care!
With every visit my dental anxiety levels becomes lower and lower. I can't believe how far I have come from not being able to even sit in the chair - to now confidently walking in, my teeth getting healthier and I feel confident to visit this practise and I am actually looking forward seeing my dentist, hygienist and nurses again! :) never thought I would be saying this! I am so grateful that Zental MK team made me feel like it's nothing shameful about asking for help, that it's all for the better and there is always a plan to make everything better. If you are like me - terrified to take the first step towards healthier teeth - this practise is the one you should go to! I recommend this practise to ALL my friends and family and to everyone else who are too scared to take the first step.
From the very first consult, Dr Kassam put me at ease about the surgery I needed to get two dental implants. He respected the fact that I was a nervous patient and I was given affordable options for sedation. His bedside manner was really exceptional and he explained everything to me in detail but without frightening me. The surgery went smoothly, as did my follow-ups and I’ve got my two implants now! I can’t recommend Zental highly enough.
After a very negative experience at the dentist as a child I developed a fairly serious phobia which impacted greatly on my adult life. I was simply too frightened to get myself into the dentist's chair. The team at Zental were fantastic, made me feel at ease and gave brilliant advice and support. I now have the confidence to smile again and I can now say the word 'Dentist' out loud without physically shaking! Thank you, Zental. The difference you have made to me has been literally life changing.
It is such a pleasure to go to Zental. From walking through the door and feeling totally comfortable with the ambiance, to the totally professional and perfect service from all the staff, I would never change and go anywhere else. My mum passed away last month and they sent me a condolence card, which I found very touching. They really are a great team (Bletchley Practice) and I am very happy with them. Zental are highly recommended from my side.
