Very poor, arrived at 4.50 and all the chairs were up on the tables. We collected our drinks and made our way to the seating area. A young man was there and we asked if could put 2 chairs down to sit on, he directed us back to the till where there was a spare table for two. If we’d have gone in any later I doubt we’d have been served. An hour and 10 minutes before the stated closing time seems a little bit hasty to put all the chairs up and very unwelcoming

Server was very surly. Tried to give me my Lemon curd tart in a bag and made my cappuccino in a takeaway cup. Asked for a plate and a cup. Reluctantly got given them. Then had to ask for a saucer too! I asked why not using cups and got a muttered “ closing soon”. I said it’s only 4.35pm you don’t close till 6pm… got a muttered “yes soon” Not impressed. Terrible customer service. Been here many times in the past and never experienced this before.

Costa coffee in a shop. Spacious and good classic Costa coffee.

We had a lovely latte coffee and a hot chocolate. We were served very quickly and the hot chocolate was piping hot. Some of the seating area was closed off as it was later in the day, bit of a shame as these seats were in the glazed area with a view.

Makes the most of the space it has, though area around the till can get cramped and tight. Staff are lovely and welcoming though some tables weren’t cleaned. Would always be useful to have a cleaning counter in a Costa to put dirty trays and cups as a customer

Not a great fan of the placement of this costa coffe. It always seems to noisey and gets incredibally busy. Their choice of vegan/plant based options have become shockingly bad? Not sure if they have changed suppliers or decided not to bother anymore but its become very limited and bland.

Lovely staff- normally helpful when I have a pram except this one time. Good lighting and spacious, plenty of tables but staff don’t seem to clean the tables as they become available which lets it down a bit I had to clean the table myself which is ok but there was a lot of mess on the floor too

Surprisingly "unbusy" for a big brand coffee shop. Just the same as any other Costa. Ubiquitous and bland. Only exists so we can feel trendy and they can see their tills filling.

Visited at 9am on a Wednesday morning. The shop was nice and quiet and I was served with a few minutes. Coffee was delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
