Excellent pharmacy, they went out of their way to ensure I had the simplest service for collecting and ordering prescriptions. Friendly and knowledgable staff.
This pharmacy been suffering from staff shortages for the longest time now. Since Mr Osama has been covering the pharmacist position, things have improved greatly as he has great customer service skills, however he is still struggling with the lack of staff to support him. Today he was supported by another pharmacist who almost didn’t charge me for two other items I was wanting to pay for, he struggled to identify a medication I requested and was then rude directly to my face. He was very lucky he walked away when he did, other rise they where going to need a paramedic for him. Please can Well ensure that Mr Osama is supported by competent staff with good customer service skills as it’s unfair to this gentleman to keep having to manage by himself.
Visited today as they had lots of available flu jab appointments and cheaper than big pharmacy chain. Really lovely pharmacist, polite and friendly staff. Saw loads of offers on toiletries which were cheaper than the supermarket, which I'd go back for.
So.. I Don't know what previous reviewers are talking about because they definitely wouldn't be talking about the pharmacist who I've seen the past 8 months. Must be an on call one. If they are on about Osama then they must have been rude and aggressive towards him firdt because he's literally the nicest calmest man I've ever met. So whoever they are. Are completely wrong if it is about him. Despite issues with staff shortages now and again, I can honestly say I will stay with this pharmacy as long as Osama is there. He's the nicest pharmacist I have ever met. Treats you more like a friend and I actually enjoy coming once a week for a chat when I pick my meds up. I understand people's frustration but he's literally doing all he can for us all, if you want a nice pharmacist who doesnt judge and actually listens then come here. The staff are absolutely amazing too. I really hope they're open for many more years as I'll stay here due to everyone being so so nice. Big up to Osama the legend
Our GP recommended we switched and registered at this pharmacy, to enable us to get our daughter’s prescription (knowing they would have it in stock). I have used this pharmacy for over 18 months now. It’s a lovely quiet, well stocked pharmacy, with on hand advice. Prescriptions are readily bagged for collection too. On the odd occasion I have had to queue, I am reassured that my order will be ready to go. Highly recommended.
It’s a nightmare never had such bad service it use to be a brilliant friendly chemist .
What an absolute disgrace, a regular meds pack not available on the Friday as agreed, go Saturday morning and get told they are closing and can't hand them over leaving the patient without any medication at all. Many other customers having the same issues. This is not the first time we have been treated like this and was assured it would not happen again but it has. Staff were rude, unhelpful and need to be replaced by people who care And it gets worse, they have not returned the prescription so no other pharmacy can issue the meds and they won't even answer the phone
Whenever going to get medication there is a long wait ,a really long wait,sometimes does not have medicine when they have told people they have it.
Absolutely superb..... Forgot to order one of my prescriptions which I take every day. Realised on the morning that hadn't got anymore left and phoned the chemist and asked if any chance could rush it thru.. The lady on phone was excellent and said she would get on it and to ring back later on day... I did this on my way home and spoke to the Irish chap who I believe managers the chemist and he told me to pop on in and it will be ready. Always have a good natter with him if he is not busy and he always makes you feel really welcome and nothing seems too much trouble. When Well first took over from Hamblins things were a bit all over the place. But now it is firing on all cylinders again and is always my go to chemist. Thanks guys for the speedy turnaround of my prescription. Richard.
