   I wish I could give zero stars, but I’m understanding now why this pharmacy has poor reviews. Prescription ordered on 05/10 with plenty of supply of an important and heavy duty medication left, had a delay being able to pick up due to work, went to collect after receiving a notification saying it was ready on 12/10, by which point due to my own fault I had missed one dose after running out, and they hadn’t gotten it ready. Ordered and prescribed with 7 days notice and had only started processing it on 11/10. Rang repeatedly to try and get it put on the SPINE so I could try other pharmacies as I was concerned about withdrawal symptoms which could make me very ill, no answer. Thanks to diligent and effective staff at boots London street I was able to get an emergency supply. They themselves attempted to contact the Eaton boots pharmacy multiple ways and couldn’t get through either. Will be changing to that pharmacy and would advise others to avoid this one, as would rather avoid getting unwell due to utter incompetence.

   Staff used to be lovely and kind, now they are angry and overworked. Yesterday, I went in to collect my prescription, my mum’s and my daughters. They gave me everything but one item for my mum (which my mum had called in days before and they said it would be ready- this isn’t a one time occurrence either)! I then stood there for half an hour after being told by a woman it was going to be a ‘few minutes’. And the male pharmacist comes over and says ‘are you waiting for something?’ Then proceeds to tell me I have been given everything? So basically trying to gaslight me into thinking I’m insane and standing around like a plonker for no reason, like I haven’t got anything else better to do with my life! At this point, I say I’ll come back for mum’s meds later cos I’m so annoyed. When I then open my meds, it’s a brand I have told them before I don’t get on with (it’s on my notes) and could I swap it (have done this in this past, no issues)! But they said no and would have to get another prescription from the doctors. Honestly, I would have to wait another week for the pharmacy to dispense. They used to be a good chemist, but clearly hating their jobs and miserable now. I feel like I’m harassing them as a customer any time I have to get my prescription. So I have now decided to move pharmacies and have told my mum to do the same as I will never go back in there again!

   Used to use this pharmacy because it was near and handy but every time I went there my prescription was never ready although I had made sure that they'd received it in good time.I was always asked have you got any shopping to do? (NO!) I've come for my prescription. So I changed pharmacy's (Not Boots) for a far better service. However my wife needed a product off the shelf and I thought I'll pop in to Boots (MISTAKE!) Kept waiting while staff were toing and throwing behind the counter. Disgruntled ex customer.

   Pharmacist kindly arranged emergency inhaler for my young son who had prescription on leaving hospital but ran out. Was late so couldn’t get hold of GP surgery. Thanks to the lovely staff for their help, very understanding, polite and kind!

   Poorly stocked shelves of basic everyday meds. Shelves dirty and floor grubby. Chemists by the very nature of the service should present a clean spotless image. Staff friendly and helpful but my meds are never ready when I call. Collect half a day later or shop for 15 mins. They are all probably experiencing supply issues but cleanliness just involves either hiring a cleaner or rolling up your sleeves

   So Waitrose opens for the elderly and vulnerable to shop between 7 and 8am and Boots doesn't open till 9. Unbelievable.

   Small branch of Boots - part of Waitrose supermarket complex in Eaton - which is a village a few miles south of Norwich Waitrose has a large free car park, cafe and toilet facilities Also a branch of Laura Ashley here
