   We had a coupon for a free coffee which was in date. The lady rejected my coupon three times because I left my more card at home, despite me logging onto the app to show her a virtual copy of the card. It was only once I called customer service, and complained, that she accepted the coupon off of me. Very disappointed in the service as I travelled to a bigger store which had a cafe just so I could use the coupon, to be greeted by the rudest lady, and to experience some of the poorest customer service I’ve seen in a long time. Absolute shocking display.

   The large fish & chips are excellent, tasty fish and nice fries. They had a special of potato waffles, hunters chicken and a side salad which was delicious. Can't go wrong with the classic sausage, egg, chips & beans. Good value for money.

   Thought I go for breakfast before doing some shopping the order machine is not working but not a problem the ladies in the cafe are amazing lovely to take to food was out quick and lovely my favourite comfort food always welcoming

   Went last week. Disgusting. Tables dirty, sticky, cutlery that is meant to be clean absolutely filthy. One poor girl running ragged between the till, delivering the food and then trying to clean in-between. Food was burnt. What a come down from how it was years ago. Store manager, nowhere to be seen. Get recruiting or move people in to help disgusting experience and won't be shopping here now either.

   Staff great. Food good. Chairs really do need rubber ferrules on the feet to silence the flippin' scraping noises on the floor as people are moving the chairs to sit down and stand up. Just saying.

   We have always come here fore either fish and chips , breakfast or baked potato . And all of it used to be lovely cooked and nicely presented , but now the previous 5 times we have been there has been no fish to be had , think a notice should be pit up when it has run out ,but I am dubious that this is to the fact , think it's being done so something else will be chosen . We have tried this but the breakfast is always cold and so is the baked potato, so the last 3 times when there has been no fish we have just walked out . It doesn't deserve custom any more .

   They get two stars because the staff are always friendly. Used to always be a good bet for a tasty, cheap meal with the kids. Took my little girl here today for the ‘kids eat free’ promotion. Mine was OK but what they gave her was pathetic, still expensive even at free. I’m not sure what the decision makers are going for with the cafe. They seem to fancy themselves as some sort of artisan, fancy feedery. In reality they’ve just started charging twice as much for half the food, that’s no better than what they’ve always served and then put it on fancier plates. They should know their role and stick to what they used to be good at - being a supermarket cafe serving a decent portion of simple, tasty food at a reasonable price. Stop trying to be something you’re not. You’re not a fancy bistro.

   We had truly dreadful food here on Sunday 1st August. In the past the food has always been good, not this time. All meals were awful, we didn't complain but all agreed we'd never waste money here again. The staff also seem to have lost interest. Perhaps there has been a change in Management?
