Just enjoyed a takeaway I have eaten in on two occasions and think this is one of the very best in Eastbourne with reasonable pricing
I got a takeaway from this place and it was really good. The portion was big and the food tasted fresh and full of flavor. Some places add too much oil or turmeric just to make it strong, but this one didn’t. It tasted clean, authentic, and honestly really enjoyable. I’d order from here again for sure.
Good location, Small restaurant though. The menu is typical and mainstream and the taste and presentation is good.
This bistro has changed hands a few times over the period of COVID and had lost its 5* reputation as a result. My wife and I enjoyed visiting Mamma Mia and would regularly eat there for brunch, lunch and dinner a few years ago but were put off by it changing hands a number of times over the past 2 years. However, we visited today encouraged by it returning to its Italian bistro heritage and it didn’t disappoint. An enjoyable brunch / lunch that was genuine Italian food and tasted like it, in an enjoyable environment with a genuine friendly and welcoming Italian owner which makes all the difference. It’s important that we support quality independent restaurants during this very difficult time so if you’re looking to enjoy the tastes / mood / environment of Italy consider this restaurant high on your agenda.
We had pizza there and It was absolutely delicious. My daughter had a gluten free pizza and She was super happy about It..and it's not Easy to find a good One. Highly recommended!!!
It was an amazing place. We love the pizzta-tried both the meat and veggie- and the mac cheese. I also ordered the Vanilla milkshake too. The people who opened this business (2 weeks ago) are very friendly and accomodating.
