Unfortunately we never had a chance to try the food as the cafe was closed . 9.30am on a Tuesday ..For whatever reason. It may have been an emergency, family related issue . But for good business sense . I would suggest the owner updates the Google opening hours . Just so customers are aware.
I used to use this cafe several years ago, I went in today and had a all day breakfast, without exaggerating it was without doubt the worst breakfast I have ever experienced, it was terrible just slop on my plate, no wonder it was empty. I will never use this place again.
9am on Sunday morning we had a brilliant cooked breakfast for two, with toast and coffee for £17 - the owner even gave us a sausage for our dog! Top class nosh, just the job! And there was parking right outside big enough for our campervan. Take cash (there's a machine in the Coop 2 min away).
Stopped at this lovely little cafe en route to Scotland and was so impressed by the value, quality and service that I felt a positive review was well earned. The owner was really friendly and our cooked breakfast was delicious, served with a proper mug of hot tea. Very reasonably priced, good food so top marks all round for this quaint little cafe.
Owner and customers alike very welcoming, popped in this morning before going on boat trip, food was excellent, two of us had full breakfasts and our partners had sandwiches, and no-one left hungry.
Always pop in for butties before football away days. Quick service. Great food. Carnt fault
