Went in to buy a pair of running shoes but the staff were completely unhelpful and - it was though they didn't want my money. Instead, I visisted another retailer that offers customer service and made a purchase there. Shockingly bad and so can't recommend this store
Popped in to find some new walking boots to suit my large but low volume feet. Andy in the Norwich store said "hello" the moment we appeared and then proceeded to guide me through the options that would suit my feet and usage, measuring and checking fit and then advising on some volume reducer inserts along with the correct wax for the leather. A credit to the company.
Booked a gait analysis. Made to wait. So had to ask for help before finally being told I must buy one of their tiny selection of running shoes or pay for the analysis, which was not clear on their website. Staff member was arrogant and rude throughout, clearly didn’t want to do the analysis in the first place. Really poor customer service throughout.
Very impressed with Fiona, who assisted with a fitting for walking shoes. She took the measurements of my feet, listened attentively to my intended use of the shoes and provided me with a selection that would work. She was friendly and professional throughout the entire process. As a cherry on top, I love my new shoes, which were incidentally on special. We were also very happy to hear about the warranty, which really shows the commitment to the product. Generally the shop is very well-presented, and stocked with everything you might need. Highly recommend!
Went in for a gait analysis. I arrived 20 minutes early, but the staff on duty were still happy to assist. Everything was explained in simple ways, with no pressure to buy. I was encouraged to take my time, which was really appreciated.
Great experience replacing my walking shoes today. New Keen waterproof walking shoes were a bargain. Didn’t catch the assistant’s name, but he was very helpful in making sure that they fitted. ( Hope he has an excellent time walking the GR Trail in the Teide National Park )
The Staff is always friendly. They are knowledgeable, and never lost patience with me as I tried on every pair of boots in the place!!
Such a great experience from Matt today who was attentive from start to finish. Friendly, knowledgeable and patient while I went back and forth between boots after a measure up. Also shared his experiences of hiking to give me a shopping list of products to consider before the main event in June. No pressure throughout. I cannot recommend him enough for going above and beyond. Thank you.
Very helpful staff, they were happy to spend quite a while ensuring that the boots we purchased were the best fit possible. No pressure to buy the most expensive type or to buy lots of accessories. We bought our last pair of boots from here 12+ years ago and they eventually gave up the ghost. Both then and now the degree of detail in selecting the right boots was excellent. Having a National Trust membership helps with the price - 15% off
Have an active job working with livestock, and had given up finding right footwear as painful feet due to wear and tear. Not sure who the lady was who helped me today, but she was amazing! Sorted me out with a pair of walking shoes, and was very thorough… lovely helpful staff. Thank you!
