I came to Malcolm struggling to understand the impact childhood trauma had had on me. I knew there were things bubbling below the surface that were weaving their way into how I formed and sustained relationships, but I didn’t know how to deal with them. The time I’ve spent working with Malcolm have been the most valuable of my life. Not only are we forming a trusting, patient relationship, but Malcolm is helping me understand what had happened to me. It’s been the most liberating and empowering experience and I’ve learnt things that will stay with me forever. Malcolm sets you at ease from the start, he has such calming energy it creates the environment to allow you talk about really difficult things. Thank you Malcolm for all your support and kindness.

I can’t thank Malcolm enough for the help and guidance that he has given to myself and my partner Becky. Malcolm provides an excellent and detailed counselling service and really does go that extra mile for his clients. We have grown tremendously as a couple since we began our sessions, particularly on the communication side of things and now we come back for some ‘check in’ sessions from time to time, which we find very useful. I would highly recommend the safe and professional space that Malcolm provides, to anyone considering couples counselling.

I started to see Malcolm last year, after I had begun to follow a very dark and convoluted path with my mental health. To start with, the outcome I wanted from therapy was to bring back a younger, carefree, happy-go-lucky, and more ‘likeable’ version of myself. This was always going to be an impossible task. Throughout my sessions, Malcolm has helped me to explore many of the experiences which contributed to changes in myself. He has made me recognise that my feelings and behaviours are a product of a string of traumatic events that I had not yet taken the time to deal with. Rather than trying to change me back to being the person I was, Malcolm has encouraged me to learn that I am a different version of myself now. And finally, he has reminded me that all emotions and feelings are valid, regardless of how big, small or indifferent they may seem - they are what we feel and that makes them real. Malcolm’s approach is completely open-minded - I never feel judged. He listens so attentively and with such empathy. Malcolm is continuously supportive and adaptable to my needs. Even after I walk away from my session, his advice resonates with me throughout my week. He just provides comfort. My sessions with Malcolm have filled me with hope. We all know, life is never straightforward. Malcolm has given me an entire mental toolbox to help me to challenge my thinking, and accept and understand my emotions. I have learnt so much about myself in this process and am finally starting to feel like me again! His advice will stay with me forever, and I will always be grateful.

Can not recommend Malcolm enough. Couples counselling has really helped us to gain new perspectives about each other and the way we can relate, overcome challenges and reframe our relationship together. Malcolm gives us both equal spaces to feel heard, understood and valued in each session. He has also give us 'homework' to help us actually do something different, as well as helping us to explore our feelings and thoughts as partners. I feel that counselling will be a life long commitment for us now as it helps us to always move the relationship forward.

I started therapy with Malcolm in September, already its had a massive impact on my quality of life. He put me at ease straight away and has helped me with personal issues as well as relationship councelling. His approach adapted very quickly as our sessions have continued, and he's been very quick to find new paths and explore new options to give me the best from his service. I Can honestly say I wouldn't be where I am right now without his help and cannot thank him enough for his support, would recommend him to anyone.

Meeting Malcolm at the start of 2020 he has given me strong guidance and used his wide range of skills, he does a walk and talk session that was really helpful and offered me a video link when COVID hit, since then I have found them both helpful weather it’s in a safe space online or safe in the fresh air on walk and talks they have helped me with issues in my personal life. He is very easy to talk to and very calming. I strongly recommend him to anyone who is struggling with anything.

Malcolm is a really thoughtful and caring therapist. He provide a wealth of practical tools to help me managing a number of different challenges. He put a lot of thought into each session. He's very open and easy to talk to but also challenges me to think differently and set myself some goals. I highly recommend Malcolm for stress, anxiety, self esteem and life coaching.
