After many many many months of waiting for lockdown to end, I managed to get an appointment with Julia to do my hair. And I was not disappointed, the colour is just perfect for me. Thank you.
So disappointed.. I tried to give this place a chance considering a few negative reviews and now I’m really wishing I wouldn’t have tested my luck. I am a professional model and needed this cut for an upcoming shoot as requested of myself, I was therefore delighted when I called the salon and was offered an appointment at 2pm when I struggled to find one elsewhere. I then get called back considerably later and told if I can come in at 3pm, not the best but still, I’m happy to do that. I then arrive on time for my appointment and saw a confused looking young woman greet me from over the salon as I came in the door, she asked me when I was booked in for, if I knew who it was with, and it was obvious a mistake had been made. She then proceeded to even ask her current client who they booked with etc and then put tons of product on her clients hair, walked off and left it on her hair as she comes up to me and tells me there’s been a mistake and that a staff member has gone home sick and so I can’t be seen today, I wasn’t sure if this was true really as this is exactly what another person said in the reviews and seems like a consistent problem for them. She then offers me a discounted cut next week in which I won’t be available and it’ll be too late. Not the best experience of my first hair salon in Bedford and glad I didn’t part with my money!
Had an appointment that waiting over a month for with Julia, I have 2 kids so organising time for a haircut you will understand is very precious. On my joy and excitement to get my haircut I turn up at the salon to be told Julia was feeling poorly this morning so went home. My appointment was at 3pm. No phone call to explain this which would of been disappointing but these things happen. To turn up and be told this information especially as Julia owns the business is so appalling. I have now gone to the Ivory hair boutique in Bedford who fitted me in as I was so upset and got an amazing cut. So thank you Julia for being so unprofessional.
Overcharged. I went to the hair salon for two tone highlights and was informed it would be £65 inc cut and blow dry. I asked if they could have a lilac colour toner to add a bit of interest. The colour wasn't what I asked for but it seemed pretty enough. Upon going to the till she (the girl colouring) initially was going to charge me £120 until it was dropped to £100 on the intervention of her father. The next day looking at the hair it seemed somewhat patchy and definitely not worth the £100 I was charged for and tbh I could have got the result I wanted by adding a toner myself. The results have also quickly faded and you can see nothing of the two tone
Usually I would recommend this salon. Sav is friendly although has a habit of wandering off to chat to other customers but as he was good I tolerated his behavior. How ever this time when i went for my fringe and back of hair to be trimmed. Diaster. Never again I only need a bald tonsure and I'd give Friar Tuck (although not as fat ) a run for his money. If hSav didn't want to trim my hair he should have made excuses and let another member of staff see to me. Very disappointed
I've been coming to Rinaldis for about a year now, and I (in my opinion) get quite complicated things done to my hair. Both Beth and Julia always welcome me incredibly warmly and I feel so relaxed in the salon. They both give me personalised advice for my hair type etc.. And know exactly what they're talking about. Beth does my hair and every time it turns out incredibly, I will continue to come back for these ladies and for my ALWAYS positive experience!!
I would like to strongly recommend Rinaldi Hair Studio. I needed serious help due to a dodgy colour I had at another salon in Bedford. I came in met the team, had a consultation. It took hours to strip my hair back and re colour it, but I did not mind the wait as the atmosphere was chilled out and fun. And the result was fantastic. So pleased with my new colour, Julia was a star. I will be a customer for life. Amy
