First time visiting here for a very long time. Thought I'd give it a try, as it was under new management. The new Landlord was absolutely lovely, she couldn't have been more friendly. Very clean, I believe they had just had new furnishings. Kirsty, the new owner said that she would be doing food in the future. I have visited the last venue she owned, a lovely little cafe, and she is a phenomenal cook. Will look forward to returning. Highly recommended.

Lovely pub, been our local for years. It’s definately so much better since they are under new management, Kirsty is lovely and polite, they have more entertainment and are trying their best to make the pub as best as it can be and already they’re doing an amazing job. Well done girl!!

Review of The Pepper Mill, Longton The Pepper Mill in Longton is a little gem that truly stands out. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by amazing staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The service is friendly, professional, and genuinely warm. The food is equally impressive – freshly cooked, full of flavour, and generously portioned. Whether you’re in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there’s something on the menu to suit everyone’s taste. This place is a real find. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality food and outstanding service in a relaxed, inviting setting.

Three stars for now having come down from 4.5 wouldn't supprise me if this slowly turns into a two star. Landlord is great, but without sounding like an old man it's now just full of kids acting up with music on that loud everyone is just shouting at each other so they can hear them. I think quantity rather than quality is slowly setting In here, on two different occasions weeks apart now when ordering a Stella the amount of rubbish in the pint can only be described as it looking like a snow globe. The pint was change with no hassle only to be the same again so decides to have a Guinness instead and again full of bits. I live miles away and this has been my go to pub 5 days from 7 over the last 10 years, I'm reluctant to move with the other regulars but if the beers don't improve I'll have no other option. Quantity of customers has increased whereas quality has decreased.
