“My husband and I went to see our friend Johny, at his pub in Burslem Stoke-on-Trent, where we were greeted by politeness. It's a very popular place to visit, where you can enjoy your time and the georgous beers that are nice and cool and relaxing.”
“I would like to say how delicious the food was and the staff were very welcoming . By far the best pub in the area . 10/10 fantastic pub”

“Nice quiet.train station pub with a grest selection of Titanic beer. Try a Grand Reserve Plumb Porter, one of the best drinks frim Titanic. It closes early at 7pm but a great place to wait while the rush hour traffic dies down.”

“The was a lovely warm welcome and that wasn't just the fantastic coal fires. The landlord and the bar staff were great, very friendly. My husband said the beers were spot on. In our opinion it is one of the best pubs in Cheadle”

“Went today 1/10/25 for carvery lunch. Not been the Plough for a couple of years. The bar staff friendly. The carvery selection was excellent and nice and hot. Also I noticed the server of carvery was checking the meats with a thermometer and writing it down. The waitress Emma was very friendly. We will recommend the Plough and most certainly be returning again.”
“Opens at 12, best to arrive around then as it can get busy later. Great selection of food available with a kids menu as well. Food is served quickly and even when busy you do not have to wait long. The staff are friendly, helpfull and quick to clean the tables. Lots of space inside with seating outside as well. Good atmosphere. Great value for money. Regular buses on the road by the carpark.”
“We celebrated my daughter Adelina’s 6th birthday at Wacky Warehouse, and it was a wonderful experience! A big thank you for staff to Sophie and Lbby for their warm, caring, and professional attitude. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The atmosphere was lovely, the kids had so much fun, and we as parents felt relaxed and at ease. I highly recommend this place for children’s parties!”
“Lovely food, nice people. except it is unappreciated that the ads are talking about tampons and viginas. :(”
“Called in for a quick drink ,we were going to have a game of pool but understandably it was busy with schools on holiday, but overall a nice experience”
“Popped in for a traditional pint of ale while over from Australia visiting my father in hospital. The old style interior added a rustic charm, typical of what you hope to find in an English pub. Didn't eat while I was there but the menu on the table looked like a good selection of pub classics at reasonable prices. Next time I'm in the area I'm definitely going back to the Windmill.”
“Can't fault it, large carvery selection, quality cooked food and great friendly service.”
“Been lots of times over the years with other bikers, at first some of the customers were a little uncomfortable with us but when saw we only wanted to have a good time, it was all good. Wi defo go back”
“Stayed here last weekend in a family room. 2 adults 2 children. Had booked another hotel up the road that turned out to be a nightmare. Arrived at the hotel, plenty of room to park, yes it is on street but lots of space. Door was closed when we arrived didn't find this a problem, lady who was working reception answered really quickly and welcomed us in. Check in was smooth and easy. The receptionist was amazing, made us feel at home. (Wish I knew her name but she has red hair) hotel felt really secure, door closed most of the time to stop just anyone walking in off the street. The stair way upto room was very clean, there is a patch of damage to the decor on the way up but really not a problem and probably to be expected in a building of such age. Landing corridor to room all really beautiful with some lots of character, (chandelier, balcony) room was really nice, so clean so big for a family of 4. No issue in room with any facilities or cleanliness. Staff happy to help and really couldn't be nicer. Location is brilliant too, nice restaurant across the road, local shops near by and water park and money forest just a few mins away. Overall had a really nice time staying here and would definitely stay again. Thank you”
“We stayed in the bell tents and they were fantastic. Comfy beds, an electric fire, kettle and enough electric sockets for all your needs. Kitchen is well equipped if you do not have your own stove. You can use the microwave and fridge/freezer. 4 comfy outdoor chairs provided with bell tents and a water tap right by the tent. Wood for a camp fire can be purchased. Spacious camping areas, beautiful scenery and lovely wardens to help if needed. Toilets and showers are clean and of a good standard. Toilet/shower area is well light at night. Great for kids as it is very safe. Would definitely return”
“Awesome local music venue. First time visit, definitely be back.”
“A fantastic, regularly updated menu of monster sandwiches and other good stuff, all served by friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere. The Supergreek salad is top banana. Even the tea is a cut above the rest. My favourite spot for dinner in Stoke-on-Trent.”
“Really enjoyed our meal at The Queens. There is a good selection of hearty food and deserts. Service was excellent. I loved the Beef and Merlot Pie and my wife really enjoyed the Chicken Leonardo Pasta. The portions are generous so bring an appetite. If we ever come back to the area this will be high on our list of places to revisit.”
“A real gem of a pub. Had the fortune to be in here when the landlord Steve was able to give the customers a quick history of the pub and his grandmother who ran it for 40 years until she was 80. His rejuvenation of the building is astounding. The attention to detail and historic sympathetic refurbishment is a real nod to the past.”
“Lovely friendly local pub. Great prices and good range of well kept beers. Impressive gine selection too. Very good pork pies and rolls available at the bar.”
“A great pub. Great food and drink. Landlord is a gentleman and his wife a fantastic cook. I always have the gammon washed down with a few beers. Menu is varied, TVs not too intrusive and a good selection of drinks including the local gin. Take plenty of cash as they do not take cards. (they now take cards, still a fantastic pub:) I would travel to visit this pub but am lucky enough to live 2 mins away!”
