   Fabulous day again. Had a slight mishap with our table, the assistant manageress sorted it out swiftly. The Elvis tribute was fab..Big shout out to @JasonDaleElvis.co.uk What a talented guy. If are looking for a great Elvis tribute, he is ur man! The staff in here are fab! Karen, the head waitress, is a character that is so loveable, professional, and hilariously funny... She really makes your visit extra special with her professionalism. Seriously, I hope her bosses at Greeneking notice her worth and give her a well-deserved bonus... She is such a loved member of staff and known by name by all patrons. . Go Karen!!! Team member of the year award!

   Myself, my 1 year old daughter and my sister went to the plough inn at around 4pm on a Saturday for something to eat. We easily found a table, they had high chairs available to use. The food we had was absolutely delicious. I had the fish, chips and mushy peas with tartar sauce and a slice of bread. The fish portion was huge and so flaky it was just amazing. My sister had hunters chicken which she loved that's her go to meal. My little girl had a kids meal which was tomato pasta garlic bread and another side. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and would 100% recommend this pub the service was great and the staff very welcoming and approachable.

   Went today 1/10/25 for carvery lunch. Not been the Plough for a couple of years. The bar staff friendly. The carvery selection was excellent and nice and hot. Also I noticed the server of carvery was checking the meats with a thermometer and writing it down. The waitress Emma was very friendly. We will recommend the Plough and most certainly be returning again.

   I visited both the wacky warehouse and pub today, Very calm and welcoming atmosphere from all the staff both in the pub and the wacky warehouse, polite staff throughout service. The food was fantastic and out very quickly. I was served on the bar by a young lad with red hair who was very polite and helpful when I ordered, he read back my order to me just to make sure I was happy with it all and there wasn’t any issues. Little things like this show how dedicated the staff are to their customers and how customers are treated.

   Got recommended this place while staying at a Travel lodge nearby on a over night journey break. Plenty of parking, and lovely outdoor seating & children's play area. Warm welcome by friendly attentive staff this very dog friendly pub is a must visit. Large selection of beers, ciders & Ales, also all spirits and more you would expect to see. After ordering our food off the menu with a vast selection of tasty food, it wasn't long before our ordered meal was delivered to our table, allowing me then time to collect my carvery. Our hot & very well presented meals were soon finished off, leaving us no room for puddings. Highly recommended

   Absolutely love this place. We have been trying all the local carvery’s over the past few weeks and last week it was time to try The Plough Inn. Well it didn’t disappoint. This is by far THE BEST LOCAL CARVERY. Selection of perfectly cooked delicious meats and the most impressive selection of veggies I have seen in any carvery. Very knowledgeable chef who is clearly passionate about cooking and enjoys his job and a bit of banter. Extremely helpful, happy and attentive staff. I am a chef myself and very particular about where I choose to eat. The Plough Inn is so good we went again tonight and will absolutely be going again. Well done to all staff and see you again soon.

   First visit here today with my family. Staff friendly and welcoming. Fantastic food, Fantastic service. Highly recommend to everyone. We have 2 very fussy eaters but there was plenty to choose from and everyone left very full and happy.

   Came here for the first time and used the app. The food came out pretty quickly and was very nice and they checked whether we wanted the starter first. There was also amazing customer service especially from a waitress named Frankie. She was so kind and funny and made the whole experience that much better. She is a very sweet woman and is the main reason I'd consider coming back here. Would definitely recommend :)

   Called up this morning to make a booking to be told by the girl On the phone that they no longer take bookings but I didn’t want to make a 40 min drive up to the pub to be turned down but she reassured me that there were plenty of table available for walk ins. So we made our way up to basically to be greeted with a rude unhelpful member of staff who claimed she was the Manager. She wasn’t interested in what I had to say just kept repeating her self saying ‘ there was nothing she could do there were no tables available’ so I clearly wasn’t happy with my first greeting as I walked into the pub. I asked to speak to someone above her then a lady appeared to my side saying she was the main manager how could she help. To which then she resolved the problem straight and got us a table was very helpful. I was absolutely mortified to find one of my party members felt uncomfortable due to her race, she felt like the first woman who dealt with us was looking down upon her. As we were was not greeted with a smile just funny stares upon entry and refusal to be seated! So what was meant to be a lovely day out turned out to be a judgmental day by one awful young lady with a bad attitude. Will definitely not be returning due to her lack of customer care and the girl on the phone giving incorrect information. Which is a shame because there were some lovely staff members who worked in the pub named amber and Eli thanks to them who made us feel a little more at ease. Forgot to mention there were plenty of empty tables through my whole stay there
