   Very expensive. The food was not worth it. And the guy who took the payment was rude. When I asked if I could use my tastecard ,he nodded and looked at my code on the phone But when I was about to pay I noticed that the discount was not put on so I asked .He was smirking and rude " discount on Christmas day?? The way he spoke to me was very rude and demeaning and made me feel like a poor person asking for discount on christmas.and it was in front of other customers that I felt like I wish to leave there as soon as, it was very embarrassing! I do not plan on going back there again, ever! As to Pepper mill response. I have never ever refused to pay.I challenged the bill but never refused. Get your facts right. I never forced or insist to use the discount. Your staff was very rude. When I asked if I could use the tastecard he nodded and looked at the code but when challenged why it was not added he smirked and said with a frown and smirk discount on Christmas day?? He did not POLITELY explained . He was never ever polite.This is not miscommunication but pure rudeness by your staff. He could have simply and politely say no we don't accept discount on Christmas day. I HAVE NEVER REFUSED TO PAY!

   Sunday lunch on the way to the NMA. Food was pipping hot and tasty. We had to wait till 12.00 hrs for food to be served then another 10 minutes for it to be served. Good portions .

   The food was from frozen to microwave, rubbery, unseasoned just disappointing nice staff at the bar, but no intractions with any one after. Tbh after a few bites we left and went to mcdonald's

   This is my 4th visit to the Pepper Mill, well travelling from Scotland on Business. The place never disappoints, so taking a small detour on my journey down south is definitely worth it. You are greeted by friendly, polite, and attentive staff, they have a great selection of food, drink and delicious desert. Caitlyn and Gemma served me with a smile, I highly recommend the hunters chicken. Open and airy atmosphere. Would definitely recommend a visit. You will not be disappointed.

   Ordered off gluten free menu due to being celiac. Brought out my own cutlery and wiped my side of the table and my order came out with an allergy stick on, can't say if kitchen was in a gluten free area. Shame you don't do gluten free Gravy so I could have a carvery

   Had a lovely valentines meal with my boyfriend. Terri was our server, she was very kind and helpful. Would deffo go again! Had the BBQ chicken burger, but changed the fries to potato fries, was so nice.

   Been tonight as a table of 6. Even though they were short staffed tonight, we were still served in good time and by a lovely member of staff, Shirley. She ensured our meals were correct and checked regularly if we needed more drinks and ensured everything was alright with our meal. The plates were cleared quickly and dessert was brought out in good time. Thank you Shirley.

   Upon entering I was greeted with a smile and we got seated really quick. The staff seam really friendly and the food was tasty. The lady who gave me my food was very nice. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here. It was a tasty Marstons pub with a great atmosphere. If you haven't been here yet. I recommend you go at least once.
