First class service from Bart, one of your amazing physiotherapists! He is so patient and kind, taking time to reassure you about current progress and the next steps to be taken. Demonstration of new exercises was greatly appreciated and I could not have wished for better treatment. Thank you so much.
Amazing place. Had second hip replacement here, and staff were everything I remembered from last time. Friendly, helpful, never rude. The glowing reports here are truly accurate. Mr Chowdry makes you feel as though you matter even though he’s done thousands. The nurses, physios, kitchen staff, everyone were so lovely. Pity other similar places don’t get some of their inter personal skills from here. Happy staff, happy patients. Thank you again Spires.
Absolutely first class patient care from Spire. I was referred via NHS luckily and I have had one of the best, if not the best expierences in care at spire from start to finish. I just pray if I need more surgery or medical help, I get sent there . Sam in physio has been utterly amazing, I can't stress how awesome he is as a person, professionally and how he has helped me post knee surgery. I am now back to my old self and have a spring in my step again. Sam was so attentive in physio, cared genuinely about my recover and gave amazing advice . I am now able to walk normally, I'm cycling again and so happy. I must also mention the amazing surgeon Mr chougley who did my knee surgery and his entire team have been brilliant. The surgery was a huge success and they looked after me through rehab of the knee with Sam in physio too. Mr chougley is so lovely and so is his team . Even my expierence of walking in the hospital, reception staff. The nurses.. even the cleaners were all smiling, genuine and welcoming. What an amazing hospital. I can't stress enough what a great expierence its been. Thank you spire. I am now seriously considering taking up private health care with you.
I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to the Endoscopy team at Gatwick Park Hospital. Kristine, Mel, Ria and Lisa, you were all amazing. Thank you for looking after me and making me feel comfortable. The recovery team, Helen, Paul, Grant, thank you all for your compassionate care. Drew, the kitchen hostess, the day care nurses, Monia and Rozanna, thank you for being so professional and attentive. I really appreciated how Dr Sadler took the time to explain my treatment plan thoroughly, which made me feel much more comfortable. Overall, I was very well looked after.
Amazing facility. I went through a knee surgery here and was admitted for a day care term. Such a lovely and caring staff all around. Thank you Debbie (Reception), Debbie (Day care attendant), Lizel (Nurse), Sue (Physio), Francesca (Recovery Unit) and all other caring staff. You guys made my stay hassle-free at every step. A big thank you Dr. Majid Chowdhry and team for the wonderful pain-free surgery and the Anesthesia Doc (Couldn't grab your name) for making me sleep like a baby during the surgery.
From previous experience, if you actually manage to make a booking, the staff I met were kind, competent and professional however The phone booking system is ATROCIOUS, no one answers or picks up the phone on the general line or the radiology booking dept. I am currently on my third attempt this morning waiting for someone to answer … 42 minutes on … no luck yet … On several occasions in the past week have been waiting on the phone for up to an hour with NO success. If you reach your mental limit on hearing repetitive the loop voice recording (telling you they will be with you as soon as they can) and music and opt for a call back it, don’t hold your breath for a return call, I haven’t had one yet. Owner of the Spire Hospital May I ask ? How are prospective patients meant to navigate this, this is adding additional stress during what may already be a personally stressful time for them ? I can imagine the staff are doing their best and probably run off their feet , if that’s the case - Please employ more receptionists. From previous experience Tunbridge Wells Spire run a more efficient system - what is stopping Gatwick Spire from sorting this out. Be aware of this before you choose this hospital for private care.
Pretty disappointed with this place. Reception staff are far from welcoming, leaving you standing there without even an acknowledgement while they grump at each other. The Dr I dealt with gave the impression that he didn't really care and just wanted me to leave resulting in me having to follow up with my condition via email. I tried to give it a second chance recently and have been waiting for a call to arrange an appointment for 5 days. Not cheap, not helpful and far from reassuring. forward I'll use somewhere else and suggest that you do to.
Used to be a great hospital. Now appears to be understaffed? Takes 30 minutes for them to answer the phone. Trying to book an ultrasound scan. They've had the referral from my GP for 3-4 days, but it has yet to be processed 'due to a backlog'. I'd expect this if it was NHS, but not when I'm paying to avoid things like this. A real shame.
Excellent experience at Spire Gatwick hospital! Had vascular surgery done under Dr.Maytham, whom I highly recommend! I cannot fault one aspect of the service provided ! All the hospital & theatre staff were attentive & service was outstanding!
This hospital exceeded my expectations!! Brilliant staff and doctors. I was NHS did not get treated any different from paying customers. I wish all hospitals could be like this!! Thanks for looking after me.
