Great place to shop for furniture and random bits and bobs you do not need. Would recommend as an IKEA alternative.

I had the worst experience at Dunelm Carmarthen. My son was accused of stealing 2 cans of sprite. This was by 2 members of the staff at the checkout counter and in the presence of other customers. I was even asked to pay for the drinks. The 2 drinks had never left the store, they were simply left elsewhere in the store. They then tried to backtrack on the accusation when confronted by my husband. I wonder if this accusation by 2 white men were simply because we are not white. A real pity since I have been a loyal supporter of the store but will never return.
It's so difficult to pay for your goods at this store. The staff tend to be on the store floor pushing for sales. Every single purchase made there has been preceded by waiting in line. Even when there is no queue, the cashiers tend to chat incessantly. This does not create loyalty (the obvious ploy). It frustrates most waiting in line.
So much stuff packed into the space available. Really helpful lady assisted us with choosing curtains, with expert advice on different types and sizes, and was very patient as we dithered over the enormous range of choices. Left with two sets of curtains, rods and hooks at a good price, and they are beautiful.
Have everything you want for home living... café not expensive, a large cappuccino, double espresso and a carrot cake for £6.20 if you go to Costa, Starbucks etc you will only get two single espresso.
Such friendly, helpful staff. The young man that assisted us couldn't have been more helpful and advised us that the items we were planning on buying were actually in the sale. A very nice shopping experience.
Went today to purchase some bedding, unfortunately my daughter became unwell, the staff were extremely helpful and stayed with her until she felt well enough to leave. They gave her a bottle of water. Huge thank you to the two members of staff, I think one was called Christopher.
A good place to shop for household items with huge selections of bedsheets, duvet covers, clocks, picture frames, etc. It has a huge car park on the front and a cafe on the 1st floor. It also sells Smart bulbs which can change colors with a remote. Sewing machines and accessories are available. The shopping experience has been brilliant for me.
