Thought I’d pop on here and leave a review, after feeling a little unhappy with my hair colouring at recent hairdressers I was recommended Giovanna hair salon, Maria re did my balayage and she did a brilliant job, she took time and effort with my hair and I couldn’t recommend her enough, look forward to my next appointment :)
Visited the salon yesterday for the first time and Maria did a balayage colour for me plus restyle. I’m absolute thrilled and will continue to book with her. It’s a long time since I’ve been so happy with a trip to a hair salon. This lady is amazing at her work! Maria please add the photos you took.
Amazing! Went in with hair that I'd trashed because I have zero impulse control. Jess gave me an incredible new colour using balayage, I've never come away from a stylist happier, genuinely delighted!
I went last year for a h/cut and everyone was so friendly & I didn't feel out of place,I went back to have a clipped haircut this time bcos I like really short hair. Not open on a Monday.There is also a cafe which sells the most wonderful cakes, lunch, hot sandwiches, soup, eggs, cold drinks as well as hot drinks they also make cakes to order. Next door there's a newsagents /post office across from the shop the local library Monday & Wednesday afternoon opens at 2pm. There is also a butcher's, opticians & a One shop.
nice place, saw a bunch of weirdo's, one had a hat with an arrow pointing down and a cropped sweater and tiger printed pants and white boots, looked like he had a toy pistol, another with a weird dotted white outfit a sort of bowl cut with lots of zips on it, a guy/girl? who had some weird accessory on their head, and their outfit is undescribable, and their was this guy with purple lipstick white hair, not so sure how to describe his outfit, and then their was one guy with a pinkish purple outfit that had a heart in the middle and some lady bugs, his hair was gold and had three rings of hair in front, I heard him say some thing about "Gang-Star".
The girls at Giovanna's are always so friendly and helpful. When you're there you see just how much care and attention they pay to their customers, especially their older clients. It also lovely that they frequently have charity fund raising going on. A lovely family feel.
Lovely staff and great value. high quality styling and responsive stylists who actually listen to your requests and work with you. I've never been disappointed in several years of going to Giovanna's.
