Attended today and had a wide variety of selection from the menu Was very impressed with the wide choice available and the hospitality from the staff especially John behind the bar, nothing was too much trouble! All meals were delivered looking impeccable and tasted fab, there was no empty plates around the table. Excellent value for money, service and cleanliness of the pub

We had travelled to Nantwich from Bury to watch the football just down the road and chose your bar by its looks and beer selection, the overall impression of the building was quirky yet very welcoming and we were happily not disappointed. The lad behind the bar was very friendly and extremely helpful .We ordered our food ( i think the £12.75.burger and a pint deal) and when it came it was quite easily one of the tastiest and best Chicken Burgers I have ever eaten. Coming with gravy for the chips and sauce for the burger it was just what was required for the evening that lay ahead Also the Cask Ale (Pedigree) that I chose was a great accompaniment. It was in all a very enjoyable experience. I only wish I lived closer so that I could visit more often I would highly recommend your bar and your food. Compliments to your cook and staff on the night. Thank you John & Jenny Wiggans

Brilliant pub with amazing service and very reasonable prices! Staff are extremely friendly and chatty, Josh being a great guy who takes pride in the pub. We've been a number of times now and always have fun. They often have a DJ at the weekends, and Thursday night is their pub quiz. The prices are very reasonable, had a double hendrix and slimline with a large white wine for around £15. We haven't tried the food yet but are planning to do so, as we've seen others have it, and it looks good. Prices are again very reasonable. Overall, it's a great pub that's well worth a visit!

What a pleasant surprise to find this pub tucked away. I have to say the food was amazing!! I had the cottage pie with cheese topping with chips.(home made) While my friend had a curry. The presentation itself was great, but the food was excellent!! Then the puddings, yummy, yummy. I had the jam sponge with custard and my friend had the waffles with chocolate and cream. (think it was that). Again presentation lovely. Tasted so nice really great food. The staff were ALL very polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere in there was electric, football was on the tv. But people were not loud and rude. It was a great experience for our first visit. Can not wait to go back again. Yours Michelle

I was trying to decide what to have for tea on Sunday and then remembered how lovely the roast dinners are from The Talbot. I called at 4:15pm and was delighted when they said they could fit me in for a delivery at 5:45pm. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they're always so cheerful when they answer the phone. The food arrived on time and was lovely, there was plenty of lamb, boiled potatoes and roast potatoes, and the veg was absolutely delicious, carrots, green beans and broccoli. All finished off with lashings of gravy and an enormous crispy Yorkshire!!
