   my family and I attended at your restaurant on Christmas Day at 2pm.Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and fell far below expectations, especially considering the price paid. The issues we experienced include: • Service problems: The starters were brought out incorrectly. One staff member insisted we had ordered items that were not correct, later admitting the mistake after speaking to the manager. My son’s starter was delayed by at least 20 minutes while the rest of us had already started eating. • Food quality: The chicken liver brandy pâté was served with rock-hard bread and no butter, despite the menu stating “lightly toasted with butter.” The prawn and smoked salmon cocktail was completely missing the Maria rose sauce. Main courses were lukewarm, with potatoes and vegetables that appeared to have been sitting out all day. Gravy was watery and tasteless the Yorkshire puddings were not homemade as stated. One member of our party did not receive any sprouts or a Yorkshire pudding; when this was raised with staff, only two sprouts were provided in a condiment dish. Overall, the food was poorly presented and did not reflect the advertised Christmas menu. • Prosecco not served: The menu stated that guests would receive a glass of Prosecco on arrival. We were not offered this. • Billing errors: I personally paid for two adult Christmas dinners at £70 each, with a £20 deposit paid in advance. While you kindly offered 20% off the bill, the deposit was not deducted correctly. My final bill should have been £96, but I was charged £101. Given the multiple issues with service, food, and billing, I feel that the experience we received was not acceptable for the cost, and it significantly impacted what should have been a special family occasion. I would not recommend this place to anyone for Christmas dinner I also would never return.

   Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was beautiful and plates were brought out with the birthday cake which I have never had happen before. Lovely environment.

   We arrived at 3:15 and were surprised how full the car park was but after parking and entering the restaurant found it was almost empty. The pub allows 20 minutes free parking and our arrival coincided with the school end time. As the pub was quiet we were told to take any table and we could order on the app, this proved difficult as some drinks are not shown on the app, so we ordered at the bar. The food came quit quickly and was excellent, the lady behind the bar who also served was very helpful and pleasant. Well done, we will come again when ‘up north’ from Sussex

   Stopped by for a family bite late on a Tuesday. Pub was quiet but service was very good. Ordered a steak and two burgers which came out quickly and everyone enjoyed. Our server, Kaz, explained the offers for the day and overall felt it was good value.

   Wow is an understatement. Service was fantastic, Georgia was really lovely and went out of her way to make us feel really relaxed and looked after. Ordered food and ensured table was clean and we had everything we needed. Ordered the Ultimate Spicy Beef burger which came with fries and burger sauce. Delicious and would say best burger ever eaten, including top restaurants. Not shy with servings as struggled to eat it all but so tasty didn't want to leave anything. Thankyou to the whole team. Had a game of pool, play on the Toy Shop game where get a prize for £1 every time and will definitely be back. Plenty of parking, easy to find, definitely recommend. Pop in next time you are passing xxx

   Nice atmosphere. Food isn't too bad. Had the Wednesday curry special and I'm suitably impressed. I had the lamb curry and my wife had the chicken Tikka. Very good.
